Encouragement

I thought it would be nice to start a thread of encouragement for those as well as myself who find themselves in the valleys from time to time.
As we all know God is good always but in our weakness we need to be reminded of the promises of Gods enabling and never ending love toward us.
If you read and study the prayers of the faithful and the writings of the Psalms you will notice that they remind God of his Mercy and Grace and his promises of enabling through the times of trail.
This was not because God had forgotten but it was to lift up that brother or sister spiritually and give focus to the much wanted and much needed strength that only the Lord could provide.
I pray that all saints go and ask of the Lord first and not as a last resort bringing peace and comfort in the midst of trouble .

I thought it would be appropriate to start out with the phrase "because I am a child of God " and then the scriptural promise in God's word to follow.
Since there are so many promises in his word I ask that you help me try to complete this thread

Example

Because I am a child of God I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me
Because I am a child of God I will fear no evil.

Let us encourage one another .

Because of God, I am forgiven and loved...

For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.
Psalms 86:5 ESV

Thank you! Because I am a child of God.......
1 Thess.5:11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together,and edify one another,even as also ye do.
Heb.10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.

Because I am a child of God I will dwell in his house forever.

Because I am a child of God he will not forsake or leave me

Jn.14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you,I will come again,and receive YOU unto myself; that where I AM, there ye may be also.

Because I am a child of God,

Because I am a child of God;
I will extol His wonders in His presence!!!

Because I am child of God I can rejoice, Say it again rejoice! Phil. 4

Because I am a child of God,

'HEB 5:9.
And being made perfect, He became The Author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him;

If you continue in the Faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel,

REV. 2:7.
He that has an ear, let him hear what The Spirit says unto the churches;
To him that overcomes will I give to eat of The Tree of Life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone,

To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with Me in My throne, 'even as I also overcame',

ROM. 11:22.
Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God:
on them which fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if thou continue in His goodness:
otherwise you also shalt be cut off.

these are but a few of the 'if' promises, lest we not forget our part!

Because I am a child of God;


I will be a living sacrifice at His behest!

Because I am a child of God, I'm allowed to be childish. Well not all the time I admit.

Behold what manner of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God. And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. Beloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when Christ appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is.

Because I am a child of God I love His Living Word.
