I haven't been on here in over a year but I wanted to ask for prayers for my mom. Last week I took her to Urgent Care for extreme pain in her left arm. After xrays and a CT Scan, she was diagnosed with a cancerous lesion in her left humerus. A biopsy determined that it was Stage 4 metastasized cancer that had spread from an unknown area. Prognosis isn't good and the doctor said he expects her to live 3-6 more months. I am beyond devastated by this news and I am praying for God to perform a miracle and rid her body of cancer. Please lift her up in prayer! Thank you!

I lost my mom to brain cancer a few months ago and her prognosis (3 - 6 months) was hard to accept as well. I will pray for God's will and desire to be accomplished in your mother's life in regards to her health and other areas as well.

My mom has been in a deep sleep for several days under hospice care and is on morphine and Lorazepam every 2-4 hours. She's expected to pass soon and only a supernatural miracle can heal her :(

I was my fathers hospice care giver, and to me after all of the time and effort (24 hrs. a day for several mo.) I spent fighting against the inevitable, which I understood in my mind. I was emotionally devastated regardless of my acceptance of reality. My prayer for your mom includes you in your situation. I hope you have a loving supportive family to help you through. (which I did not.) Mom was in and out of a mental hospital and I had no siblings.

God, grant me the serenity To accept the things I cannot change, The courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time, Enjoying one minute at a time, Accepting hardship as the pathway to peace. Taking, as Jesus did, the sinful world as it is, and not as we would have it. Trusting that You will make things right, if we surrender to Your will. So that we may be reasonably happy in this life, And supremely happy with you forever in the next.
