The church is all talk, no power, and no reality. All words.
Thanks in big part to the cancer of 'Cessationism' which has been teaching the church since the Reformation that the power of the Spirit in supernatural gifts doesn't exist anymore, and so, few in the church believe they can have the power and reality of a miraculous gift of the Spirit, for, surely you won't walk in a gift you do not believe exists. Thanks a lot, Calvin!

I have made my position clear. I do not believe we earn, maintain, or keep secure our salvation. Almost every post where I have addressed the issue. I do not agree with Judges position.

Listen...this whole discourse between us was clear...You defended Judges as a brother......and MY point has been HE is NOT a brother to those that believe in eternal security....He is a deceiver that is peddling false gospels and YOU sir have misrepresented me on numerous times in this thread, have argued against the truth an EVEN falsely accused me of PICKING my NAME which I did not do....NO honesty and NO apology..........

I’m flying under the radar, etc. don’t deny it now. You accused me of subterfuge and deception. On this very night. Come clean and admit it

You know....WHY i pursued this course with you?

Because I have been here 6 years....and people like HIM come and GO....they peddle deceit, usually get banned, come back again and do it all over again...and USUALLY their PALS which have BEEN banned or NOT will in a very subtle WAY defend them, promote them, stand with them and THEN they finally reveal themselves by word or deed....I was putting you to the fire migo......because YOUR defence of HIM, misrepresenting ME, calling him a brother IMMEDIATELY set my radar off to a continuing cycle we have here on CC.......IF you are as you say YOU are, are NOT a previous member and DO believe what you say...then I OPENLY APOLOGIZE..........!

The fact that I said I believed he was my brother was the same as defending his argument according to Dcontroversal. That was my point.

As you're saying, we should only be depending on the grace of God's forgiveness to save us and keep us.
That's what faith is all about.
No Christian should walk away from the confidence of Christ's ministry.

I just want to point out that not believing in once saved always saved doesn't have to mean you believe that salvation is secured and kept by works of the law. Salvation is secured and kept by faith in Christ. And faith is hardly a work of the law.
