What we read in Hebrews 10 concerning our entering into the holiest is:

Hebrews 10:19-20 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh

We enter in the blood through the flesh.
Hebrews 10:19-20 KJV

“19 Having therefore, Brethren, boldness to enter into the Holiest by the Blood of Jesus (the Cross has made it possible for any and every Believer to come into the presence of the very Throne of God, and at any time so desired),

20 By a new and living way (presents the New Covenant), which He has consecrated for us (by the Cross), through the Veil (contains an allusion to the Veil which separated the Holy of Holies from the Holy Place in the Tabernacle), that is to say, His flesh (refers to giving Himself on the Cross, which opened up the way to God);”

sorry MOTC.

the formatting of that book you quote is really offensive to me. this man's words in giant bold red letters obscuring the words of God.

but look:
Christ didn't enter before the tabernacle in heaven by remaining nailed to the cross. He came down from it; He entered the grave, He rose victorious, and then He took His blood before the altar. risen -- and then ascended.

if there was just a cross and no empty tomb, there would not be salvation.
'
is ______ the most important part of Christ's work?' is a terrible, leading question. there isn't a 'most important part' -- His work is perfect, and every single part of it is important; it's irreducibly complex, i.e. it doesn't stand if you go deleting bits of it and it doesn't rest solely on one individual aspect, but hinges on all of them individually & in concert

Is The Cross Of Christ The Most Important Part Of The Plan Of God?

Exodus 12:1-3 King James Version (KJV)

12 And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying,

2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:

What is The Cross? Is the Cross the same as the Passover? When you do the Passover yearly Feast, are you doing The Cross? We have to identify what The Cross of Christ is, before we can establish its importance in the eyes of Elohim/God.

Wow!

This must be an automated machine programmed to react to certain words or catch phrases to respond!

I feel no heart from it,no emotions.........

It's like the WIZARD OF OZ
Yeah. Frankly I’m not even sure what he means by “beyond the cross”. Jesus himself went beyond the cross and rose again on the third day.

The veil was rent from top to bottom therefore we can enter into the Holy of Holies
by Jesus Himself!

Mt.27;51,Mk.15:38,Heb.10:20,
That event has deep meaning...

The believer enters into the Holiest in the High Priest. The Lord Jesus Christ, as our High Priest, is in the Holiest … in the very presence of Father God … He is the new and living way.

The believer is to abide in the Lord Jesus Christ. We enter into the Holiest in the Lord Jesus Christ. There is no other way. He is the way and we enter in Him.

We do not enter into the Holiest by the Roman instrument of torture and death.

In Galatians 3:13 we read Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree

To leave the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross is to leave Him in His humiliation and shame.

Heb 10:20 tells us the way into the holiest is by a new and living way. When Jesus was resurrected, He was no longer hanging on the cross nor in the grave. According to Heb 10:11, the dead sacrifice under the old covenant could never take away sin. When the Lord Jesus Christ ascended up into heaven, He was alive ... He is the new and living way in which we come to the Father.

Again, MessageOfTheCross ... does JSM teach any truth concerning the resurrection from the dead and ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ into heaven? Does JSM leave the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross ... the cross He endured on behalf of mankind even as He despised the shame?

The Lord Jesus Christ was resurrected from he dead in victory over sin, death, the devil.

The Lord Jesus Christ ascended up into heaven far above all principalities, powers, might, dominion, every name that is named not only in this world but also in that which is to come.

When are you going to acknowledge that the Lord Jesus Christ was not left on the cross? He was raised from the dead ... He ascended up into heaven as King of kings and Lord of lords. Sad that you do not spend as much time researching the living Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as you do the instrument of His humiliation and shame.

There is much poison in the pot what you have written (2 Kings 4:38-41). What stops Believers from seeing clearly, what God has prepared for us in Christ, is a veil. The "Veil of the Law" hides truth from Believers (2 Cor. 3:12-18). Unless the Believer stops committing "spiritual adultery, " Grace stops; Christ becomes of no benefit to you (Gal. 5:4). For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent (1 Cor. 1:19).

For the preaching of (message) the Cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Unless you return to the Cross by placing and maintaining your Faith exclusively in Christ and the Finished Work at Calvary Cross where the victory was won, i.e., the Blood of Jesus, you will be under the curse of the Law (the Law of sin and death). Return and ask the Lord for the old paths (Jer. 6:16).

The veil that is upon the heart of those whose minds are blinded is "done away" in Christ (2 Cor 3:14).

The truth is not hidden from the believer who lives in light of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead and the ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ into heaven.

You really need to look into that, MessageOfTheCross. Doesn't JSM have any studies on the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead and/or the ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ into heaven?

Galatians 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

Why to you assume the believer who lives in light of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead and the ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ into heaven believes he/she is "justified by the law"?

Also, please explain how living in light of the resurrection and ascension is "committing spiritual adultery". Thank you.

So interesting that you cherry-pick your verses. You have quoted 1 Cor 1:19 and 1 Cor 1:18, but neglect to quote 1 Cor 1:17:

17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

What "gospel" did Paul teach to the church at Corinth, MessageOfTheCross?

1 Cor 15:

1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [here is the cross ... but don't stop here]

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:

6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.

8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

11 Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.

12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?

13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:

14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.

16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:

17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

To leave Christ on the cross, the implement of His humiliation (Phil 2:8) and shame (Heb 12:2), is to render our faith empty and leaves us in our sin.

And again, what Paul states in 1 Cor 1:17 is that those who come with "wisdom of words" (man's wisdom) are those who make the cross of Christ of none effect.

The preaching of the gospel is that Christ died for our sins (1 Cor 15:3) and that He rose again the third day (1 Cor 15:4).

Romans 4:23-25 Now it was not written for his [Abraham's] sake alone, that it was imputed to him; But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences [the cross], and was raised again for our justification [the resurrection].

No one on this thread has stated that the crucifixion was/is not needful. All we have stated is that the resurrection / ascension is also needful to understand in order for the believer to walk in newness of life ... Rom 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Acknowledging the Lord Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead by the glory of the Father and walking in newness of life is a result of the believer being buried with the Lord Jesus Christ by baptism into death.

the death / humiliation is the cross ...
the walking in newness of life is the resurrection / ascension ...

JSM
Again, MessageOfTheCross, the gospel preached to the church at Corinth is laid out in 1 Cor 15.

The gospel is:

1 Corinthians 15:

1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures

The gospel wherein we stand is:

Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures

Christ was buried, and He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures

The full gospel is not Christ died for our sins on the cross.

The full gospel is not Christ in the grave.

The full gospel is Christ died for our sins, Christ was buried, Christ rose again.

We are saved when we believe Christ died for our sins ... and was buried ... and rose again.

To ignore the resurrection is to "believe in vain" (1 Cor 15:2). And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins (1 Cor 15:17).

Do our blessings come through and from the Cross or the Resurrection?
the cross and the resurrection and the ascension.

Ephesians 1:

19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead
[resurrection], and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places [ascension],

21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

The exceeding greatness of God's power to us-ward who believe was wrought (worked out) in Christ when God raised Christ from the dead and set Christ at His own right hand.

Philippians 3:17-21 King James Version (KJV)

ENEMIES OF THE CROSS DOCTRINE

17 Brethren, be followers together of me (be "Fellow-imitators"), and mark them which walk so as you have us for an ensample (observe intently).

18 (For many walk (speaks of those attempting to live for God outside of the victory and rudiments of the Cross of Christ), of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping (this is a most serious matter), that they are the enemies of the Cross of Christ (those who do not look exclusively to the Cross of Christ must be labeled "enemies"):

19 Whose end is destruction (if the Cross is ignored, and continues to be ignored, the loss of the soul is the only ultimate conclusion), whose God is their belly (refers to those who attempt to pervert the Gospel for their own personal gain), and whose glory is in their shame (the material things they seek, God labels as "shame"), who mind earthly things.) (This means they have no interest in Heavenly things, which signifies they are using the Lord for their own personal gain.)

20 For our conversation (citizenship) is in Heaven (meaning the other ways will have no place in Heaven); from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ (the Rapture):

21 Who (the Lord) shall change our vile body (the Resurrection), that it may be fashioned like unto his Glorious body (every Saint will have a Glorified Body), according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself. ("All things" are done through the Cross.)

JSM

All things are done through the Cross. If you leave the Cross, you enter death (Romans 8:1-2, 6, 13)
