On the road to Zion, I had to pass by Bethlehem,
before stopping at Calvary.
In Bethlehem, I saw that God became man and was wrapped in swaddling cloths.
At Calvary, I saw God, wrapped in our sin, die for mankind.
In Bethlehem, men gave the God/man temporal gifts
At Calvary, God gave man eternal gifts.
Bethlehem broke a 400-year silence, even after 4000 years of famine for all mankind
Truly we must pass by Bethlehem on our way to Zion.
