Hi! My name is Jennifer and I’m new here. I was raised Catholic but haven’t had anything to do with the Catholic Church in about ten years. At this point I have very little faith. I’m thinking of going to a Non-Denominational service this weekend hoping it will do some good because I’m just lost. Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello.

I'm a Catholic too and like yourself have not attended mass for years. It is important that whatever church you decide to go to is a bible believing church that stresses that salvation comes from contritely confessing your sins to Jesus who died on the cross for these sins. Also, to invite the Holy Spirit to live inside of your heart to comfort and guide you in the repentance process. Having very little faith is a lot better than having no faith. Glad to have you as part of our family. Welcome to CC.

Hello Jennifer and welcome to CC :)

I am an ex -catholic myself so i am glad to hear you have had nothing to do with the roman catholic church for 10 years.. I came to the true faith by reading the Bible when a work friend gave me a Bible as a gift (y) ..

So i would encourage you to have a good read of the Bible.. and especially the New testament ,, Even reading just one of the Gospels will be a positive for you.. I would also encourage you to pray to God to help you understand what you need to understand as you read the Bible..

We do not need to know everything about God to call out to Him for this Help.. God can take us where we are currently at and lift us up to a higher understanding. :giggle:
