No, I read what you said and did not ignore you, hence the reply.

Yes, Jesus is the bread of heaven that if any man eat of him he will not die.
I can see that you are unteachable and that no matter what proof is given to you, you are going to resist it. So, you are free to believe whatever you want. I will not comment on this any more. I've already contended beyond what the Lord would have me.

I will believe the Bible indeed rather than the traditions of dead men.

It would seem to me that we are arguing over things that Christians would not argue over....we know who the devil is and where he came from in Scripture...in this thread people explained it....it seems strange to argue over the obvious and what is well known....

My point is Mary is not to be worshipped...Catholicism is false...we know

The Holy Spirit indwells people...but if some want to teach He does not Baptize and only P/C want to think He did....maybe the HS is mad that people resist the truth

My point why are we fighting over what we should all know

If people don't know and take opposite portions on issues does it not show that we are divided...and if we are so ....WHY

Because people want to fight...why not everyone get together and agree

It can't be pre mid and post trib
That is dumb...the Bible says what it is
It does and can not say 3 opposing things...thats confusion and God is not like that

So if all the chat sites people are arguing over opposite views they have tooooo many people who do not know God right

Each thread the truth was explained
Why then must we discuss the obvious

SATAN WAS THE FIRST FALLEN ANGEL WE SHOULD ALL WELL KNOW

PEOPLE JUST WANT CONFLICT AND TO FIGHT ON THESE SITES

God does not want this type of fighting with heretics. There are 200 posts in this thread and it is still going

Why not discuss how can we get together and get the gospel out

But people here will fight over what the gospel is for 2000 posts..instead of getting it out correctly...

This is going on because many don't know there Bible and have so much pride to argue the obvious truth told them from God's Word

Blessings

I came to this forum seeking fellowship with Christians. I find a street fight not much different than the political forums on the net.

I’ll just put my two cents in here and say, I don’t care WHO Satan is or WHERE he/it’s at. I simply believe Satan has one HELL of a lot of control over the flesh and blood of earth. I see him/it every day in the evils of this planet. I accept the conflict between good and evil on earth. I believe GOOD will triumph in the name of and return of Jesus Christ and Satan whoever he/it is will be destroyed. I’ll keep all of this in my heart as in my faith!

When y’all find out who Satan is and where he’s/it’s at and can prove it with scripture “civilly”, I’ll be interested.

People here proved who Satan was with Scripture in Ezekiel and people say they don't care...it does not matter...or they just keep arguing

How there can be such people explaining the scripture so well and others who refuse it on a Christian site is a bit weird

But people want to fight and argue it gets them off

The scripture in the book of Ezekiel does not say it is about Satan. It says it is about the King of Tyre point blank. The entire Bible never calls Satan an angel, fallen or otherwise just like OP stated.

However, Satan is identified in the Bible, he is an animal, a serpent in Genesis, and he is an animal a dragon and recognized as that same old serpent and his names are Satan and Devil in the book of the Apocalypse.

He was an anointed cherub.

Ezekiel 28
14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
I concur with this.

1 John makes it clear that one is either a child of God, or a child of the devil.

1 John 3:10 "This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are:

Ezekiel 28 is saying that the prince of Tyre is the child of the King of Tyre (devil).

Where did Satan come from? – Creation and Fall of Satan
Bible Question:
Where did Satan come from? Did God create him? When he first appeared in Genesis 3:1, he had not been mentioned prior to that.
Bible Answer:
The answer to your questions will be provided in three sections: the creation of Satan, the fall of Satan, the goal of Satan, and the victory over Satan.
Creation of Satan
Satan was created sometime before Adam and Eve. Genesis does not tell us exactly when this happened, but we know that this is true since we see Satan for the first time in Genesis 3:1. Adam and Eve are alive, and Satan appears in the form of a serpent.
Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?” Genesis 3:1 (NASB)
The book of Revelation tells us that Satan, the dragon, or the devil, appeared as a snake or serpent.
And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. Revelation 12:9 (NASB)
In Ezekiel 28:13 we discover that he was a created being – a beautiful angel. He is a wicked angel.
You were in Eden, the garden of God;
Every precious stone was your covering:
The ruby, the topaz and the diamond;
The beryl, the onyx and the jasper;
The lapis lazuli, the turquoise and the emerald;
And the gold, the workmanship of your settings and sockets,
Was in you.
On the day that you were created
They were prepared.
You were the anointed cherub who covers,
And I placed you there.
You were on the holy mountain of God;
You walked in the midst of the stones of fire.
You were blameless in your ways
From the day you were created
Until unrighteousness was found in you.
By the abundance of your trade
You were internally filled with violence,
And you sinned;
Therefore I have cast you as profane
From the mountain of God.
And I have destroyed you, O covering cherub,
From the midst of the stones of fire. Ezekiel 28:13-16 (NASB)

Well Timothy, look at it this way. All these Christians that are Roman Catholic, or the Protestant spin-offs of that, don't want to admit they were wrong starting back in 325 AD. Those of us willing to throw off the shackles of deception that has gripped Christianity for nearly two millennia will be fought by those not willing.

We are truly in the last days spoken of to the prophet Daniel: Dan. 12:4 "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased."

With our ability to travel and learn--and to print what we have learned for the next person--knowledge has truly increased. Nobody likes to be told they are worshiping God in the wrong manner. But simply by doing it differently, we say just that. 2cool.gif

Yes, the king of Tyre is a metaphor for Satan.
But who is that "Satan" you are talking about.

I t is certainly not a fallen angel because God hasn't warned His chosen people of a supernatural power got loose.

If you read further in Ezek. 28 to verse 17 it says this:
Ezekkeil 28: 17 Isaiah 14:12-15 Revelation 12:7
Do you always begin reading books from the middle?

Did you ever read those chapters from the beginning?

Did you ever read in the Bible about king Hiram? Do you know who he was and what he did on the Mount of God?

Two other verses of scripture that seem to confirm what we are told about devils are:
Luke 10:18 And He said to them, "I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning.
You assume; it seems to you...

1. One has to know the Bible.
2. One has to say exactly as it states.

Please consider La 2:1

This is incorrect. There is no place in the Bible that says there were fallen angels before the fall. Satan has never been an angel, and the title of Lucifer is never applied to Satan in the entire Bible, and for good reason as the title of Lucifer translates to Lightbearer, and we know from the Lord Jesus that there is no light in Satan.

Isaiah 14 is not about Satan, it is addressed to the King of Babylon.
Thanks for this clear biblical collaboration.

Here is some biblical information which identifies Satan and his angels as fallen:

"Then a war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But the dragon was not strong enough, and no longer was any place found in heaven for him and his angels. And the great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

"Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven with the key to the Abyss, holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.

"Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels."

Do you still have any doubts that Satan is a fallen angel?

By the way, both Ezekiel 28:13 and Isaiah 14:12 are about Satan. The reference to the king of Tyre in Ezekiel 28:13, is referring to Satan as the principality behind the human king of Tyre, that is unless you think the human king of Tyre was the covering and guardian cherup (angel) in the garden of Eden with every precious stone covering him.
A good example of how one can "proof" every pagan story and tradition by assuming/supposin/finding it in the Bible as a typo instead of finding what exactly God states.

Let me say this:

A. The Bible doesn't state that satan is a fallen angel.
B. In the OT the word "satan" has been transliterated when appears in a neutral context but translated when points to people (like in 1 King 11) or even an angel of god (like in Nu 22:22).
C. The word "devil" doesn't appear in the OT.
D. The word "demon" appears 4 times in the OT as a pagan god crafted in wood.
E. Demonic appearances/operations cease after the Gospels.

Let me ask you this:

1. Where did the Jews know from about existence of demons?
2. Why those demons kept appearing while there were Jewish spies present within multitude of people?
3. Why those demons knew who Jesus really was?
4. How and whom Jesus "blinded" and whose eyes he opened (see Jn 9:39)? Hod did Jesus do it?
5. Why Jesus always spoke in parables to multitudes?

If you know the answers from the Bible not from the pulpit story tellers then let me know, please.

The fallen angels fell or more accurately where barred from heaven early on in the account of Genesis these Angels came down to earth and took human woman and they had offspring with them.. For this they where cast down into the bottomless pit ( which i believe is a separate place to Hell ) they shall be released just before the return of Jesus as part of Gods wrath upon the earth."
Do you know what the Greek word translated as "angel" may mean?

Did you read in the Bible about a Korah's revolt? Do you know which tribe they were from and what their purpose was?

How such posts as these get posted to begin with is amazing....the answer as stated before is in Ezekiel and we know that there are inserted things in scripture....why at this point all Christians don't know this is that Ezekiel like many books of the Bible are not read much....so now the truth is being lost and who the devil is...is lost even on Christian chat sites....we know that Satan was the first fallen angel of the 3rd that fell total thru him...if people read the whole Bible 50 times and did it...this post would never have been made....it was made because people don't know the Bible...and this is a Christian site...and if Satan...who he is is not known by so many just imagine what is not know in the Bible here....
Glad to haw someone to show us clear texts he refers to.

Firstly, in my view, which should go without saying , I think we have to ask ourselves, does Satan appear in the Hebrew Bible? Since the New Testament is a fulfillment of the prophecies of the old, the Hebrew Bible is relevant.
The word translated as "satan" does appear in the OT.

However, it should never be granted a capital letter "Satan".

People here proved who Satan was with Scripture in Ezekiel...
The only problem is that God didn't mention that Ez 28 was about "assumed" a fallen angel satan.

Instead, in the claster of prophecies from Ez 26 God foretold number of things H e was going to do. In Ez 28 He foretold that a pagan Hiram will be privlegded to "walk on the Mount of God among the 12 tribes represented by the Biblical stones) beautify Solomon's Temple. He will be blessed by God in many way but reject the 20 willages of the Holy Land as Salomon's gratitude at the end.

I would like to encourage people to quote clear text instead of making assumptions based on pulpit story tellers they hear.
