The membership of this forum seems to spend much time within the sphere of their Christian Life.
Do you spend much time in the company of Non Christians and their activities?

If I do spend time with non Christians it would have to be at work. Personally, I would not assume anyone at work was not a Christian even though that is probably the case. An effective sphere of Christian life would necessitate contact with the outside world otherwise would use would it be to anyone who is not a Christian.

Thinking on your question, our only interaction with non-Christians is through our music interests. This is not on purpose, just how things pan out...
I'm sure that is true in some instances. Glad to have you join our community. Welcome to CC.

I am wondering if you could be more specific as to the activities are you asking about? Before I became a member here I spent much time over eight years talking to non-believers whose sole interest was to destroy the faith of believers. Do you mean activities like that?

No I didn't mean activities like that. Why did you spend so much time with the Non Believers who were trying to destroy the faith?

My activities attract a mixed demographic and I seek the company of like-minded people who are actively pursuing goals, dreams, etc.

Hey Lon, yes I do for starters I’m the only one in my immediate family that believes and i spend time with them. My coworkers and people I meet in everyday life. I have friends that are not Christians I may play golf with or go fishing on a boat or just hang out at the house. outside of this forum I probably dont talk near enough about God, some but not a lot.

Sorry but I have to ask, if there is one or two or couple of things that have had a profound effect on your life that has drawn you to not believe what would they be if you don’t mind me asking?

It is called "apologetics" and "testifying." As Christians, we are exhorted to do both.

Before Jesus gone up to heaven, He commissioned every believer to preach the gospel of god news till the ends of the earth? Without being friends, how do you win over them to believe in Jesus?

Non Christians don't really tolerate my conversation. There is only so much Jesus and such that they care to listen to. Jesus, theology, and scripture are my favorite subjects to talk about. That being the case I don't have many other friends either, even most Christians are limited as to how much they are willing to discuss. I'm that guy that will discuss it all night long given the opportunity. And everything is related to God and his works surrounding us. I find the Wonders of God in everything.

well Jesus had lots of non christian friends but they turned out not to be His friends after all because they didnt believe in him....and He was the one who laid down his life for his friends.

So I could be a friend to you but are you going to be a friend to me?

A Christian friend is going someone who is going to love your more than you will ever know, compared to a non christian, who isnt willing to lay down their own life. We take up our crosses and we bear them. thats the difference.

also we pray for each other and talk to God and read the Bible, and non christians just dont understand that relationship. They also dont get spiritual matters.

It's hard for me to be friends with non-Christians. As a former drug addict, a lot of things I was doing in my former life just come back to memory when I'm around non-Christians.
It's hard not to get infuriated at what they are doing. Sometimes I think it's legitimate (I want to warn them about what they're doing or share the gospel), but other times (maybe most of the time) I'm just getting mad at the old man.
God gives me a lot of peace with a Christian wife though, and He's peppered my life with social interaction and interaction that does pretty much what anything I had before I started following Jesus provided.
