What do Jesus means when he said...this..
Joh 17:6 KJV I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.

Jewish who believed in one God...knows God name...
Why the need to manifest the fathers name?
This is the question as well to those who hold the doctrine of oneness and trinity...

Jesus Christ is YHWH.

“Now I desire to remind you (even though you have been fully informed of these facts once for all) that Jesus, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, later destroyed those who did not believe.” Jude 5 (NET)

Since Constantine, people who believe themselves to be Christian have drawn steadily away from our kinship wit Israel, the historic Israel I refer to, not the present day version.

So many miss out on so much because of this. Supporting your post, I may add that even the names from the Word are prophetic.
The name, David, may be translated to English as the Beloved.
David's fathers name means My Redeemer.

Many times we see references to the eternal throne of David...……...the Beloved.
Our Father has declared in the OT several times, I am your Redeemer.

YeshiYahhu is jusst another name for Yeshua. Translates, My Redeemer Yah. There is a lot more, but it is frightening to so many, yet so wonderful to those who know.

Sorry I forgot to say David's fathers name, it was Jesse. Transliterated from the Hebrew it would be Yeshi, Yesh meaning redeemer, and the suffix i making it first person possessive.

Joshua (savior) to represent the incorruptible seed . His father Nun .A symbol of Christianity

Hebrew definition of Nun
  • The Hebrew word for soul (neshamah), and candle (ner) both begin with the letter NUN. The Hebrew word for faithful one, ne’eman, is signified by the letter NUN. In Aramaic NUN means ‘fish’, symbolic of fertility because they multiply rapidly.

We must not confuse the David and the Yeshi (Jesse) characgters of the Worrd with our Savior and kFather.
