A day is 1,000 years. WE can see this with the Kingdom age when we will rule and reign with Christ for 1,000 years. The church age is two days or 2,000 years. The Church age began on the day of Pentecost when Peter was preaching in the upper room in the year 29. So 2029 will be the 2,000 year anniversary or birthday of the church. Some people believe there is 7 years of tribulation then 2036 would be the beginning of the Kingdom age when the Kingdoms of this world become the Kingdoms of God.

There was a major extinction 12,990 years ago with a 90% extinction rate. This is when the woolly Mammoths and the Saber tooth tigers died off. We can use the nano diamond comet as marker. I do not think the comet was a cause of the extinction, just a marker so we know when this event took place. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/01/090101172136.htm
The one thing I might disagree with is the year 29, that places peter in the upper room before Jesus was crucified unless you think it’s before 29AD

Jesus had to be in the grave on passover. Pentecost is 50 days later. We read in Acts how Jesus was taken up before Pentecost. This was the beginning of the Holy Spirit dispensation. No one knows for sure the year Jesus was born. Right now it is believed to be 5 bc. I use the Apophis comet as a sign that the year was 29 AD and 2029 will be the 2,000 year anniversary or birthday of the church. If you want to use a different year for when the church began that is fine. No one seems to know for sure.

Well the comet cycle is every 0.89 years the next fly by is 2029, so i subtracted 89 from 2029 and 1940 and so on until I arrived at 71AD was a fly by and before that the fly by was in 18BC. not sure how you got to 29AD?

I subtracted 2,000 from 2029. What year do you believe is the 2,000 year anniversary of the church? The 2036 date actually falls on resurrection sunday that year. So we have a 7 year comet that passes over Jerusalem every 7 years on Passover. We are told: "I will show wonders in the heavens above" (Acts 2:19)

I’ve read a 2036 impact has been ruled out, yes of signs no doubt about that but I think that comet is not a sign, there’s a whole asteroid belt full of rocks and other objects flying around the earth and it is littered with impact craters these things happen like hurricanes yet on a larger scale hard to believe I know but it’s normal in our solar system not saying there is no signs there is but.

A day is as 1000 yrs to God not to us, we're on the 24 hr a day clock .. And the major extinction event was Noah's flood .. If you want the amount of time you can reasonably add up genealogies and bibilical events to get a pretty close + or - of 6000 yrs .. And the magi followed a more local supernatural star to Bethlehem and the babe Jesus imo ..

There are a lot of people that teach that there will be a 7 year tribulation period even though there is no literal reference to 7 years in the Bible. The idea that this comet comes around every 7 years before Passover does cause me to wonder if this gives the validity to a 7 year trib. teaching.

Also we are talking about the "earth" and we know that the universe has been around a lot longer than the earth.
The universe and the earth were created on the same day.
For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Ex 20:11 (KJV)

What do you make of this verse? the comet is viewable from earth every 10.8 yrs

Ezekiel 39:9
Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out, kindle fires, and burn the weapons--the bucklers and shields, the bows and arrows, the clubs and spears. For seven years they will use them for fuel.

This is coming up in multiple posts. It would be a lot easier to give the topic it's own thread. According to Dr. Gerald Schroeder "The world may be only some 6000 years old. God could have put the fossils in the ground and juggled the light arriving from distant galaxies to make the world appear to be billions of years old. There is absolutely no way to disprove this claim. God being infinite could have made the world that way. There is another possible approach that also agrees with the ancient commentators’ description of God and nature. The world may be young and old simultaneously."

First of all we have to deal with the word: "choshech." in Genesis 1:2: "Now the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters." So there was no light before we had day, yet there was still the "surface of the waters". Also we are talking about the "earth" and we know that the universe has been around a lot longer than the earth.

If Choshech is to difficult for people to deal with. That clearly there was something here before day one, we still have to deal with day one. "Each day of creation is numbered. Yet there is discontinuity in the way the days are numbered. The verse says: "There is evening and morning, Day One." But the second day doesn't say "evening and morning, Day Two." Rather, it says "evening and morning, a second day." And the Torah continues with this pattern: "Evening and morning, a third day... a fourth day... a fifth day... the sixth day." Only on the first day does the text use a different form: not "first day," but "Day One" ("Yom Echad"). Many English translations make the mistake of writing "a first day." That's because editors want things to be nice and consistent. But they throw out the cosmic message in the text! Because there is a qualitative difference, as Nachmanides says, between "one" and "first." One is absolute; first is comparative.

Nachmanides explains that on Day One, time was created. That's a phenomenal insight. Time was created. You can't grab time. You don't even see it. You can see space, you can see matter, you can feel energy, you can see light energy. I understand a creation there. But the creation of time? Eight hundred years ago, Nachmanides attained this insight from the Torah's use of the phrase, "Day One." And that's exactly what Einstein taught us in the Laws of Relativity: that there was a creation, not just of space and matter, but of time itself."

An interesting concept.....the world that then was PERISHED being overflowed with water.....before the flood the earth had a canopy of water, after the flood the earth gets baked by the sun, solar radiation does a good job on us as 90% of aging is tied to the sun......haha

I have heard that is the reason that we only live 120 years. "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; nevertheless his days shall be one hundred and twenty years." (Genesis 6:3)

Some people say this is an archetype and points to the flood that took place at Pangea around 200 million years ago. Turtles and Crocodiles survived this extinction but there was the usual 90% extinction rate. The water fell to the earth and the atmosphere was a lot less humid.

It sounds to me like someone will find a way to convert nuclear waste and nuclear weapons into fuel for a power station. Hopefully something you can put on a truck or shipping container and take anywhere in the world to the areas that need power.

I have read the Bible five times. I always read and study the begats. It is clear that the gentiles did not descend from Adam and Eve in the Bible. This is why we are adopted into the family of God and like a branch grafted onto a tree. "For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either. " (Romans 11:21)

Adam called his wife Eve because she was the mother of all the living. Gen 3:20

Tesla’s idea was shot down because of big oil company, no way was people going to allow other people to have free power. Nuclear power once activated burns for a very long time a lot longer than seven years

I don't know which bible you've been reading, but your conclusion regarding the gentiles is simply not biblical. Perhaps you need to read Genesis 10 again. The natural branches are ethnic Jews, descended from Abraham through Isaac and Jacob. The wild branches are everyone else.
