4. The SDA organization supports abortion of Down's Syndrome children...how can you judge people over days, knowing that SDA

It's rather silly to claim that evangelicals follow the Pope, since the Reformation rejected their abominable teachings.

I am a former Sabbathkeeper.
I notice that there are a few abusive Seventh Day Adventists on the forum.
I would recommend these books to expose the problems with their teachings. This book exposes a lot of history about the Sabbath and SDA theology and conflicts within the organization. It was written by ex SDAs and former members of similar groups affected by Adventism:

Samuele Bacchiocchi's book, From Sabbath to Sunday, is important because he was a SDA and a historian. After examining the claim that the Pope changed the Sabbath, based on a vision by Ellen G. White, he acknowledged that this claim was nonsense and Christians were meeting on Sunday much earlier than the Roman Catholic church existed, according to Scripture and historical records as early as AD 135. There was a Roman bishopric within the apostolic church, which later apostasized, but it was not the Roman Catholic Church at that time, and did not have a pope. So, Ellen G. White is proven a liar and deceiver by making such claims.

I will also point out that I think it is very hypocritical to fixate on the observance of a particular day, when the SDA organization has health care facilities that perform elective abortions on non-SDA women, and performs abortion on SDA women if the child has congenital defects or is the product of rape or incest. This includes Down's Syndrome children. Somehow murder is deemed acceptable, while meeting on Sunday is not. Does that seem coherent to you?
By the way, abortionists funded buildings on their campuses. I think donations plays a big role in their decisions.

I asked a SDA pastor about the SDA position on abortion, and he told me it was none of his business, in essence, and that the decision is between the woman and her doctor. So, while claiming others are compromisers and disobedient to God due to their choice of worship days, the SDA organization is perfectly fine with aborting children with Down's Syndrome or similar congenital defects.
Finally, the book "Sabbath in Christ" by Dale Ratzlaff is highly recommended. Dale is a 4th generation SDA pastor who left the movement due to inconsistencies he noted. I believe they related more to the "sanctuary doctrine" or "investigative judgment" than the Sabbath, but after he left, his group studied the Sabbath and found that SDA claims were bogus in this regard. Reading this book is highly recommended.
Additionally, many Adventists do not believe in the biblical Trinity. Instead, they believe the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three separate beings. They call the biblical Trinity the "Roman Catholic Trinity". They do not believe that there is one God, in terms of being, yet three in terms of Person. This is the definition of the biblical Trinity.
If anyone has issues with my defense of biblical Christianity, realize that SDAs on the site are claiming that non-SDAs are worshipping the Pope, and are in essence de facto Roman Catholics. Their claim is non Sabbatarians do not care about obedience to God, as well, because they don't consider the Sabbath to be one of the commandments of God given to them. Some individuals think SDAs have the right to make such claims without answering counterclaims regarding SDA doctrines. Good luck with that one.

Sabbatarians on forums such as this often accuse non-Sabbatarians of being dupes of Roman Catholicism, as well as claiming that they do not care about obedience.
They don't get a "free pass" to dispense such claims without counter-claims being expressed. And, that is exactly what I will do.
They count on the inexperience of non-Sabbatarians, and expect that their claims won't be met with reasonable counter-claims. As an ex-Sabbatarian, I am able to do that.

Isaiah 66 is NOT saying there will be a moon or that Sabbath will be observed.
Isaiah 66 is expressing the passing of time.
You are INFERRING that there will be a moon and that Sabbath will be observed from this ONE VERSE that is NOT saying what you are trying to make it say.

If you are trying to prove Sabbathkeeping is required from this verse, why don't you make the same claim regarding New Moon observances?
They are mentioned together.
And, if you read the prophets as a whole, they also refer to animal sacrifices during the same described period (which premillennial people claim is the Millennium).

By the way, how are they going to be kept in your theology? If you are SDA, SDAs believe that the earth will be burned up and will lay barren during the 1000 year period. There won't be anyone there according to their theology..so who will be there to keep it?
If you read the Bible like a premillennial, the same Scriptures mention Sabbaths, New Moons, animal sacrifices, Levitical priesthood as being applicable during this period.
So, my point is that you are excluding those practices, and claiming they prove the weekly Sabbath is in effect today.

Therefore, Sabbathkeepers are observing the Sabbath more like 36 hours rather than 24 hours, because somewhere around the world, someone is observing the Sabbath for 36 consecutive hours.
The other side of the world (antipode) from Israel is French Polynesia. French Polynesia is 12 hours different than Israel. If the Sabbath begins at Israel at 6 PM, then it will end in French Polynesia 36 hours later.
So, if you claim God only made a particular 24 hours holy, then you have issues once you get outside of Israel, because there is someone observing part of the Sabbath, even amongst Sabbathkeepers, on Sunday.
