I have attended several of these where the Medium brings forth someone that has died to give a message to one of the attendes.. I think It's all Bunk. There is no religious connotations.

Correct. But there is a spiritual connotation in that evil spirits are present and fully involved. Those spirits pretend to be the spirits of loved ones who have died.

Not sure what mean by " religious connotation" but a way to make money.

Dead people do not message the living that is for sure.

It is totally Satanic and contrary to Bible teaching - even if the medium is a charlatan as most seem to be.
It was at such an event that Satan put the nonsense theory of Evolution in the head of AR Wallace.
