Psalm 68:5 New International Version (NIV)
5 A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.

James 1:27 (NIV)
27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

We must have faith and peace in knowing that at any point if death is on the horizon that God takes special consideration and commands special attention to those who are missing a parent or parents, or missing a spouse. God is in control. Trust in God's promises to take care of those who you leave behind.

Speaking of family, how is your son? Wasn't he ill recently?

He is doing good. The flu put him in the hospital for 4 days back in December on Christmas day. Whole family got it but thankfully everyone else didn't need a hospital. The flu was bad this year.

My Mother died when I was 3/4 and my dad died when I was 18 , I had no relationship with either parent...

I have been walking with our LORD 5 years this October coming , and yet only these past months God is showing me what love is...

I think with children like myself who have grown up with no parents find it much harder to understand what Gods love is to a child , I know He has shown His love through His Son , but I mean on a day to day basis...
The special thing for me I guess is that God is the first to show me how a Father loves His daughter , but I am starting to understand...

Your life is becoming a wonderful testimony as God reveals life altering truths that will forever change how you view the world.

What have you discovered in your understanding of how God as a Father and how you as a daughter of God fit into that relationship?

Before He called me , I never knew discipline , I broke the rules and lived the way I thought was right , even bringing my children up without discipline as I thought discipline was cruel , that was because I was abused sexually , physically and emotionally , so I was all mixed up , but somehow I always had manners , and fed them to my children...

God is showing me love and discipline go hand in hand , He has is showing me that I am secure in Him , and really showing me He will never ever leave me like everyone else in my life has and that His word is truth...

He has shown me He is gentle , and when I walk to the left or right , and not pleasing to Him , He lets me know because His peace is not still within me , then I check myself to see where I went wrong , confess and He restores His peace and I truly trust Him for the way He deals with me...

I never ever knew what love was until He called me , it is all brand new to me , especially these past months...

I suffer with mental health illness , He is showing me through my low days He is there with me , I could go on and on lol...

Thank you for asking...

You are most definitely a survivor type, you take a licking and keep on ticking.

This is a beautiful testimony to the scriptures above. The world was doing all it could to knock you down but God has a plan for your life. Others can find hope and encouragement from your life.

As you grow closer to God you may eventually see even in your past how God was working to help you or guide you up unto the point where you finally responded.

Human fathers are imperfect where as God the Father is our perfect example of love because he is love in Himself. Thank you for blessing my day with your testimony!

I had the flu more than once last year, but I will be around a while, getting stronger every day!

I will be one of the last to live in my family, because everybody part from one is older than me. I also live a very healthy lifestyle. I love being healthy and recommend it for all.
