I don't think God worries about that kind of respect. Wouldn't he care more about his edicts being followed and observed?

no

actually He cares more about people accepting His Son and believing in His resurrection

but since you are a person who does not believe in any supernatural being or any after life, as you have stated quite clearly, you response indicates that you have God confused with human beings trying to please God, should they actually believe in Him, by acting in a way they think might impress or please Him

Welcome back! Dont let the zealots push you away. You are welcomed to share the pics of your food as long as you want to. And I will continue to drool over them. My wife cooks for me but (whispering) it doesn't look as good as those pictures lol. But it's all good for my southern roots as to fancy food has its place but good old southern food you best be prepared to get messy and eat parts of animals that most people dont mess with. Frog legs anyone?

so you seem to think that speaking of the fact Lon is a humanist with no belief in God or any other supernatural being and no belief in the afterlife is somehow being a zealot?

actually, pretending this man is not lost is what the problem is

he is not fragile as anyone can tell from some of his more...nasty posts including where he said goodbye to all the 'self righteous Christians' in this forum

I don't think you know what a zealot is but Lon does not have time to waste and needs Christ...not another haute cuisine meal

no one is going to push Lon away....he will do what he wants. he is not a big softie like some like to think

There are ways to speak to unbelievers compared to believers.

What of it? Wasn't everyone once a believer of other beliefs until conversion? No what I was calling a zealot was Christians that Bible bash. No one going to come to Christ by Bible bashing. We are adults not children. Just because he states his beliefs doesn't need a hostile response. I dont care how he acts, aren't Christians called to higher standard?

Who is pretending? We have all mentioned different truths in other forums including me. He has heard this so what else do you want from him? You want him to get off a Christian site because he isnt Christian enough for you? Didn't Jesus literally spend most of his time with sinners and the lost?

he is not fragile as anyone can tell from some of his more...nasty posts including where he said goodbye to all the 'self righteous Christians' in this forum
Again so what? I could care less what he said. I have said a lot of things in spite of not understanding a topic. Worldview attacks are some of the hardest to swallow and people act in different ways. We as Christians should respond with grace, love, patience, truth, and forgiveness. Truth in love. If love isn't in the truth then leave it to more mature Christians.

I don't think you know what a zealot is but Lon does not have time to waste and needs Christ...not another haute cuisine meal
He has already heard the odds. Ultimately it is his choice isnt it? Possibly the best example of Christ could be your actions.

Okay
this isn't about mistakes anyone has made

sorry you do not realize that and have gone to all kinds of lengths to defend yourself

its not about you either

are you angry? you sound angry. this is really more about yourself than anyone else here. what exactly are you defending?

obviously if I am concerned about his total lack of belief and then denial of what he has said, I am not desiring he gets off this site...he isn't Christian...period.

it's just odd you turn around and attack me with things I never indicated but I am not surprised

most of the responses to him are just as humanist as are his beliefs

I could care less what he said
that's not good. I do care and that is why I don't pretend all is well

you should listen here because you have really crossed the line with what I think or have said

and the worst part is, people read what you say and you try to make it seem I want him banned or some such

you need to be truthful with him. and you need to listen to what he has said.

and calm down
