Welcome back! Dont let the zealots push you away. You are welcomed to share the pics of your food as long as you want to. And I will continue to drool over them. My wife cooks for me but (whispering) it doesn't look as good as those pictures lol. But it's all good for my southern roots as to fancy food has its place but good old southern food you best be prepared to get messy and eat parts of animals that most people dont mess with. Frog legs anyone?
Most folks eat em fried. Actually alot of southern food is fried, grilled, or smoked. So many animals when fried or smoked tend to taste more like what you cook it in.
If you hunt them then if you are not careful a rush on Adrenaline in the animal or if you take too long to get it cleaned then that affects the animals taste. Also where animals live and eat can affect the taste. Also some frogs are dangerous to eat so dont go catching any old frog lol
When someone spells God with a small "g" that is already a red flag. Only false gods are spelled with small "g's".
I just turned 65 in January. Bungee diving had not entered my mind. Took a lot of guts to do that and faith that the cord did not break. Impressive.
God may not care so much about capitalization but rather is probably meticulous about spelling.
It's not about "picky Christians". It's about showing respect to God. Even though you don't believe in Him.
I don't think God worries about that kind of respect. Wouldn't he care more about his edicts being followed and observed?
I think these type of southern food was started because much of the South was rural and poor families dating back to the 1700s. Food was often what you could catch or hunt.

I doubt the early Christians knew much about reading or writing. Mostly was read to, or had someone educated to write a letter, or memorized important scriptures.
Initially no He doesn't care about grammar, but the respect should be made known though. On this site you will come across many different types of petty and nitpicky people. When you type about God especially on a public forum you should do it in a way where not to offend other believers by lower-casing the name. God isn't out to crucify you for putting a little "g" in the name for not knowing or making a mistake, but some members on this site are. I mess up and put little G's here and there every once in a while too because i type well over 95 wpm and i miss the shift key. Anyways, God knows the heart and your intentions, and some on this site only know what they can see. Just be mindful of that though.
