Our Heavenly Father's opinion? Do I speak for God? Of course not, but His Word does; the Holy Bible does, so my thinking was it would be good to see in His Word what He thinks of racism, if anything. It's not hard to find His opinion, it's on the 1st page of the Bible.

So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. Genesis 1:27

After His creative work of preparing the earth for human habitation, God created all the races on the sixth day: black, yellow, brown and white He created them; and He created them all in His image. We look like God! But don't get a big head, surely He preferred some races over others, right? He did put us on different continents, and He probably preferred some continents to others, right?

Logically then, if South America is better than Asia, the brown man must be better than the yellow man; if Africa is better than Europe, the white man must not be equal to the black man. Does it make sense to anyone that our Heavenly Father, Who created all of His children, and loves them all, loves some more than others?

We cannot find a fairer Judge than our Father, and does it even matter, seeing we will all be judged by Him, whether we want to be or not. That's not fair, you say? Our Father created us, and He has every right to judge us.

Thou art worthy, O LORD, to receive glory and honor and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created. Revelation 4:11

Have you pleased your Father lately? Sorry, that's a different subject. Now, racism. Does our Heavenly Father really prefer one race over another? The answer is no, He does not, and we can be assured of that by His Holy Word.

And God saw everything that He had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Genesis 1:31

Our Father created all of His races on the sixth day, and He looked and we weren't just good, we were VERY GOOD! The question then becomes, if our Heavenly Father was pleased with all of the races He created, shouldn't we be? Yes, we should, racism has no place in this world today, especially after it has shrunk.

Shrunk? Yes, before the 15th century the races rarely mixed with each other; we were all on our own continent separated by great oceans. So, if you are a racist, stop it! By the way, I'm old enough to remember racism, and what we have today is nothing compared to what it was in the 40's, 50's and 60's.

I probably shouldn't, but allow me to make a small political statement. Much of the racism we hear about today is perpetuated by some politicians and news media outlets who make their living by continuing to stir the pot of racism. Don't believe them; America is not racist anymore, unless we are intent upon finding examples of it, which some are apt to do.

Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Acts 10:34-35
So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.

Romans 10:12
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him.

James 2:9
But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors.

I don't think God created races. I think He created the genetics to allow it but He didn't create separate races like Asians, Africans, Caucasians etc. This is a cause of the dispersion which created separate genetic pools.
Supposedly we didn't have continents like we do now at the beginning, only after the flood.

Our Father which art in Heaven created all that exists. The greatest creator power in existence before anything existed at all. God is a spirit, not a man. And God is no respecter of persons.
Therefore, racism is our fault. And has never existed anywhere in Gods words at all.

You have certainly hit the nail on the head. When there is no other insult that can be thrown at an opponent then seemingly "He is a racist" is supposed to be the epitome of insults.

Racism came to the fore after Barack Obama was elected. He was primarily elected on the basis of his color, then he appointed a whole bunch of people on the basis of race rather than qualifications, then he interfered with every incident where black criminals or troublemakers were involved. But he did absolutely nothing for American blacks. Just like the rest of the Black Caucus.

Not exactly. Their descendants scattered throughout the world after the tower of Babel, and eventually what happened is that various ethnic groups were established. But all nations and languages belong to just one race -- the human race.

At the same time one can broadly trace certain groups and nations back to Shem (Semitic), Ham (Hamitic), and Japheth (Japhetic) groups.

Genetics is the study of heredity and the variation of inherited characteristics but none the less I understand what you are saying, the human genome is the basic blueprint for the development of the physical body of flesh.

Thus, if mankind originated from only one man and one woman then obviously the races must have evolved from genetic mutations, then would you agree that the Caucasians are the descendants of Canaan since there appears no variance of genes in the Persian, Oriental or Ethiopian races?

By the way, I'm old enough to remember racism, and what we have today is nothing compared to what it was in the 40's, 50's and 60's.
So let me play the devil's advocate and say that if you believe that God only created one man and one woman, in his likeness and image then wouldn't logic dictate that only one race can be made in the image and likeness of God?

So what is the judgment you think should be used to judge whether one is made in the likeness and image of God?

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Gen 1:26

I think that the o.p made a mistake using racism rather than races which are two totally different things.

The image spoken of is not our physical bodies. God is a Spirit, and to worship Him we must worship Him in spirit and truth...... Our eternal spirits are the image of God, our earthly bodies were created for the purpose of living in this world and to procreate......... Jesus took upon Himself the "image of man" when He came to earth.

Some people never seem to understand this and want to subscribe to God a "sex, race, creed," whatever. Not how it truly is.

No, I do not believe God created different races. People look different for various reasons. People south of the equator are generally darker. Asians and Native Americans (since they crossed over into the Americas) have basically the same straight hair. Some people are stronger because they have had better nutrition, and so forth. There are also a lot of race "blends". Ethiopians look like a mix of Arabs and Africans. The actor Yul Brynner also had a mixed look.

Which sin was worse: Peter denying Christ or Peter refusing to eat with the gentiles?

Our Father did create all that is, including races.

You who believe must come fully to grips with this, our Father sees us all the same, no color, no race, no denomination, not even male or female.

Take time, learn to see as our Father sees us, and you will never be fooled again by the color of skin nor by the situations peole have chosen in which to live..

I have been given by my paternal grandmother some of my lineage, Norwegian, Scots, Welsh, American Indian, and the rest have been misplaced in the pot. If I am truly blessed I should have seamplings from all races, I believe that would be perfect for my thinking. Ooops! forgive me Holland, I almost forgot I have Dutch b lood also, even my last name is Dutch.

As is written, come the Kingdom we shall ALL be just like Jesus, Yeshua....that is to say LIKE he, not He. Why some go off half-cocked thinking they will be converted into being God, is almost beyond me, if I did not already know the lessons of flesh colors and the lesson of Satan thinking he would raise his throne above that of our Father.

Relax some of you, our souls are identtical, so remember this and learn from each other with no regar to appearanxces…. Learn from all people whenunderscored by the Holy Spirit...........no exceptions.

Your question reminds me of the Euthyphro dilemma

From gentiles point of view, when God chose Abram and decided that only the Jews will be his favored race for almost all of the OT and all the way until Paul was saved, Socrates might say that God was also being a "racist".

But then, as the dilemma goes, morality seems to be decided by God.

People look different for various reasons.
People look different for one reason, the genes in the DNA in the cell which is created by the process of cell fusion of the male and female gametes.

While it is written that the LORD said, "My spirit will not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh..." but until one sees the face of their Father in heaven then they can't see the flesh of the LORD in the face of all men.
Not that any man hath seen the Father at any time, save him who is of God, he hath seen the face of the the Father.

And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith. Deut 32:20

Racism is alive and well. Just illegal. If people weren't racists, antiracists laws would be unnecessary.
