Okay something to get you thinking ...

Gold is beaten until it is 200 times thinner then a human hair, to go on book ornaments food est...

Imagine your Christian beliefs as a beautiful gold ornament. If we were to take a saw and cut it in half, what would we see?

Would it be solid gold all the way through or would it just be a thin layer of gold with some cheap nasty metal inside ?

Never would imagine that gold could be 200 times thinner than a human hair. Interesting.

But as for me this reminds me of the whitewashed tombs that Jesus used to describe the Pharisees. When gold is tested, it will always reveal its imperfections or how pure it is. I for one am in the refining process. God has started a good work in me and he is bound and determined to see it through regardless of how imperfect I am.

That is the Christian walk. Never a sprint but a delicate and well calculated pursuit as soul and Spirit relationally work together to finish and win the imperishable crown of our salvation promised upon our day of glorification. We are justified through the cross and seen as righteous by God as Jesus became the mediator. God sees us as perfect, unblemished, sins washed as white as snow, and He forgets our sins. The journey we are in now is called sanctification. A process as we abide, we grow, we learn, we want to be better than before, and the love for God energizes us to follow His Words. Out of love we become more like Christ both in action and mind.

We must remember do not get hung up on all the changes that need to be done. Focus daily on Christ because that is all we have is today, this hour, this min. The Spirit will incite you on what change needs to be made. One step at a time, one mile at a time. Satan wants to overwhelm us or make us feel insignificant or undermine our lives in our walk with Christ. Always be on the alert and take hold of the mind. Cast out those thoughts. God knew we wasn't perfect, we dont have to constantly remind ourselves but instead remember the grace of God and enjoy the journey.

Only the best titanium was holding me together, sistahh!

And I'm not into cheap nasty metal - Only the best Christian rock n roll for me. And there is no cheap perfume on a woman of God. But, she would have to wear an aluminum hat with me around here with all the rads flying through these cell phone towers...

Apology to roughsoul1, I went over the edge again, he is doing the right thing by helping us to obey the Apostle Peter and stay on track. God bless you for all you do for the Lord. It's not easy for anyone, but can be a challenge as people get older. Thanks for the help in these forums.

Yes. Depending on the element, physical matter has a micro-limit of 1.6 x 10 (to the exponent of 35) m
