I don't object if the faith is actually in Christ. The issue of obedience to me is not a salvation issue. Whether we are saved or not it is our duty to obey. Regardless of what we get out of it, God is worthy of obedience.

I'm well aware the gospel iis simple. God came and forgave our sins and for His righteousness was put to death. He was then vindicated by being judged and is the first of many. My issue isn't the gospel or lack of belief entirely. It's coming to accept that I haven't committed the unforgiveable sin. But regardless of my eternal position it is my duty to obey. Not for rewards or fear of punishment but because He is worthy of it.
The law of love

Matt 22: 37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Gal 5: 16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

This are how we walk in step with Gods ways.

Yes, but Saul didn't spurn the Holy Spirit. While I don't know if I have, I did reject the gospel after I first understood it thinking that I would go to hell for someone I loved. I came to full knowledge and threw it all away. But that doesn't really matter, God will judge me how I am fit to be judged. If that's damnation so be it, I will obey. If it's salvation so be it, I will obey.
Saul spurned the Holy Spirit his whole life. Remember he was present while they stoned Steven, and very well may have witnessed the death of Christ

If your going to go to God based on your righteousness, Then there is only one end result

If I was you I would receive the righteousness of Christ.

many people have spurned God for many years. only to come to Christ. Some at the end. God is a keeper of his word.

Obedience is good news. He is worthy, His justice is perfect, and He will judge the wicked. If you're righteous, that's great news. It's heartbreaking, but it's still great news.
No,

Gods salvation is good news

THEN we have the power to be obedient

we can not put the cart before the horse

That's not the gospel Jesus preached.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Sadducees obey God despite not believing in eternal life. To them you live life, you die, then rot in a box.
God seeks a relationship with us.... it not about what we do (performance).... it is about being in Him.

I once did a study on the word "obey" the term does not even exist in Hebrew in the sense of how we use it now.

Obedience isn't about performance, either. The relationship God seeks is not one of camraderie and friendship but a Patristic one. Faith is trusting God to direct our lives and doing what He directs. People in this thread keep trying to pigeon-hole me into some paradigm but if you pay attention to my words you will see I don't fit in any of them. The one who has faith will trust that when God asks them to do something it is what is for the best and so do it. The relationship is not one of equals. There is no faith without obedience.

I’ll manage Revelation and prayerfully learn something, but Leviticus is out of the question.
I am the opposite. I refuse to read Revelation because of my mental instability, but Leviticus is a breath of fresh air. The visceral worship would have been something to see.

I would agree there.
The reason I've been all over the place is because I trust what the Bible says largely without trying to make it all fit together. There's a lot of unresolved tensions in it and accepting them as true and trusting God to fit it all together in the end is about all we can do. Unfortunately men have created systematic theologies that try to explain God through doctrine and more often than not that creates division rather than drawing us together.

One does not need a systematic theology, one needs to understand the big picture and work from there.
God does not contradict Himself.
Neither should Truth or Love.

God doesn't contradict Himself, but there is tension between justice and mercy. We can't rely on our own understanding of the big or little picture, all we can do is decide whether we will trust Him in obedience or go our own way.

Ezekiel 3:21 Nevertheless it thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not,and he doth not sin,he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

what is the greatest sin in the whole of christendom?
For yes believers sin.
Is it not lack of obedience to what the word says!
can we encourage one another......yes
