So have you trusted Him to impart what He offers?
Yep.
34 years now.
And still believing.
I have the life that is eternal and I don't want to lose it......that's why I continue to believe, holding fast to the word I first heard:

"24As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. 25And this is what he promised us—eternal life." - 1 John 2:24-25

Your hatred and determination to put down OSAS'ERS is truly bent and sickening.
I'm tired of osas excusing sin.....and calling that grace.
Even many of those who say they aren't new style osas'ers excuse sin in the name of grace.
It's sickening.

And I'm quite sick of osas'ers looking down their noses at the rest of us.
The arrogance is appalling.
That's directed to exactly who it applies to.
If that's not you, then good, it's not directed to you.

Maturity.
A mature 'knowing' relationship with Christ.

You think you are there because you know about and eagerly embrace osas doctrine.
But the Bible says you are there when you obey God's commands.

"3We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands." - 1 John 2:3
You don’t need maturity to be saved. And therein lies the crux of your problem.

John 5:24 doesn't bother me in the least.
It is Bible truth.
You just think there's only one way to understand the plain words of the passage--the osas way.
Not true at all.
Take your osas blinders off and you will see osas is not the only way to read John 5:24.
I guess you believe there’s wisdom somewhere in your words. I’m happy for you if you’re happy for yourself.

It's sickening.
And I'm tired of people who accuse those that believe OSAS are excusing sin and promoting sin when in fact they are not.

Which you do generally on here without having the courtesy to ask.

Furthermore we know Paul says that where sin abounds so does grace, but don't abuse that grace as a license to sin.

Everyone I know here knows that and believes that and DO NOT PREACH THE OPPOSITE.

What you espouse and accuse on here is truly sickening.

EXACTLY!!!!!

God Bless!
Thank you, beloved. And may God always bless you and yours as well. And for the record, I responded to two posts only to see afterwards that you also respond to the same two posts, having the same questions and concerns I did. Great minds think alike! 😎

John 5:24 as most of the bible, many translations

ONLY 1 interpretation
" two cannot walk together except the agree...."

That's because that's what the Bible calls it.
Did you not read my post???
And did you not read my post on the words of Jesus which you called baby milk.

I was quite surprised by your response because you could have posted verses of Jesus spoken words in the gospels to try prove your case against OSAS but you did not.
Obviously you are not as clever or as learned as I thought you were.

You just attacked @Lightskin because for you it's to simplistic and you have the doctrine you attack.

Yet the verse he quoted is the gospel and not baby milk.

Did Jesus say in that verse that it was baby milk?

Nope he did not.

I noticed you did not address the rest of my post.

Who is saying that is not true?
Everyone who believes is living in and enjoying Christ's life that will never end.
Stop believing and you will no longer have the life He promised will never end.
Do have any idea how you contradictory you are?

The gift is given completely it is not on hold, nor is it retrieved, neither is it a loan.

Jesus gives once saved always saved...that is His gift can you comprehend this?

Stop listening to pop theologians and their misguided, Spirit-less interpretations of scripture. Be a Berean. Read and understand the Bible for yourself through the anointing of the Spirit.
Not great advice coming from someone who reads and studies from a corrupt bible. Before you are concerned about correct doctrine, you should be concerned about God’s word.
