Paul used the word dispensation and linked it to the mystery, its just that people like you refuse to understand it, in Ephesians 3

For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

Paul keep distinguishing between Jews and Gentiles, and he calls himself the Apostle to the Gentiles many times throughout Romans-Philemon.

Its all there, but because churches love to preach from the 4 Gospels, many don't wish to emphasize on those passages.
Tell, me, honestly.

Did you learn dispensationalism through independent Bible study? Or did others tell you of it?

You are simply repeating the talking points of Dispensationalists.

Why would it be the first time?

Shouldn't we have heard about this in the Bible?

But you will not hear about it in the Bible. A false teacher has to come along with fair speeches and enticing words that appeal to our carnal mind to hear about. Not to mention with fancy colorful charts and arrows that appeal to the eyes.
It was stated in Galatians 2:9, did you read it?

Everyone's doctrine came because someone taught it to us. No one reads the Bible in a vacuum, we are influenced by the church we are from, the pastors we sit under.

The question is, after you are taught, do you recheck with scripture?

Galatians 2:
[7]...when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter...[9]...they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.

So Peter was sent to preach the gospel to the circumcision, and Paul and Barnabas were sent to preach the gospel to the heathen. What's your point? You get dispensationalism out of this?

It's one gospel to different locations.

No no no. If that's what happened to you that's your propblem.

I learned from the Bible. And if some "Pastor" comes along saying opposite things you must avoid them.

And if you first learned doctrine from a church, once you read your Bible and you discover your church is wrong, you need to avoid that church.

No one reads the Bible in a vacuum
I must be read in isolation of false doctrine.

You should be influenced by the Bible ALONE! The church and pastors are supposed to feed it to you so that this can be the case. But many churches don't feed the word, they teach traditions of men.

Once you read the Bible, all other doctrines, wherever they come from, MUST agree with scripture without a shadow of a doubt.

That Peter was restricted to the circumcision, so when you read his letters, if he meant for the Gentiles to take instructions from there, he is breaking that agreement.

Do you know why the Holy Spirit chose to put his letters immediately after James? When you read James 1:1, he was writing to the 12 tribes. You combine that with Galatians 2:9, and you will understand James, Peter and John were all writing to the circumcised.

If you don't want to admit you also form your doctrine from other people's teaching, that is your choice. Cheers.

One gospel, one truth, one bride, one God.

We can't leave things out. If it is not bringing glory to God we are reading it wrong.

I have not formed any doctrine from other people's teaching.

You want me to lie to you, and tell you I have?

I grew up in a home VOID of the word of God. I fell into many traps in my life without having the truth of God in me.

Then one day, after suffering a devastating emotional incident, and then vainly seeking comfort from the world, it was impressed upon my heart that I should buy a Bible and read it.

My life has never been the same since.

And I vowed, while the fire of God's word was fresh in me in those early days, that I would never stop reading it or let anyone or anything lead me away from the truth of it!

By the will of God I continue unto this day faithfully reading the word resisting all the false doctrines that have corrupted so many believers.

Thank you friend. I will leave it to you to find Jesus in the Torah :)

I truly hope that God's word will touch your mouth like a coal of fire and that you will keep on spreading the true gospel :D

Yes, always according to the mystery that Paul revealed to us Gentiles in his letters ;)

We are busy studying the brazen altar as part of the tabernacle in our Bible school. What a blessing to see Jesus revealed in the Law of God. That is why we can’t disregard the old and only focus on the new.
