They deny they sin willfully, but they preach that the blood of Jesus is INSUFFICIENT to save completely
The blood of Christ is insufficient to save THE PERSON WHO DOESN'T WANT IT.

The blood of Christ can't save the person who tramples on it in willful unbelief.

Context shows us that the person sanctified by the blood of Christ is indeed a saved person:

"10 By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all." - Hebrews 10:10

"14 For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified." - Hebrews 10:14

"29 How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?" - Hebrews 10:29

This also shows us that being made perfect forever in Christ doesn't mean you can't lose the perfection He gives, but actually means what the chapter itself says it means, that Christ doesn't have to be repeatedly sacrificed. The Sacrifice lasts forever and doesn't need to be repeated. That's how it is 'forever'. It doesn't say you possess it forever. It says nothing about forever possessing the Sacrifice that lasts forever, no matter what:

"1 For the Law, since it has only a shadow of the good things to come and not the very form of things, can never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually year by year, make perfect those who draw near. 2 Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, because the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have had consciousness of sins?" - Hebrews 10:1-2

You only possess the perfection of Christ's one time for all time Sacrifice forever if you continue to believe and trust in it.
That's why the author tells us to continue to believe in the Sacrifice and ministry that lasts forever and does not need to be repeated:

"23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful" - Hebrews 10:23

"14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession." - Hebrews 4:14

Because Christ's Sacrifice is so great and makes us perfect in God's sight and lasts forever, not needing to be repeated like under the old system, we should hold fast the confession of such a great High Priest and ministry. The chapter says nothing about 'forever' meaning you can never lose the effect of Christ's ministry no matter what.
Your arguments have already been refuted in post #19 and elsewhere.

To my recollection I have never sinned willfully in unbelief.
I have never made a decision to not trust in Christ anymore for any of my sin to have been motivated by a rejection of Christ's forgiveness.
That's a dangerous place to be and I've never been there, thank God.

In all my 34 years as a devout Christian, I assure you I sin out of ignorance, foolishness (a.k.a. stupidity), fear, and weakness, never because I no longer want to believe and trust in the forgiveness of sin I have in Christ.
sinned willfully in unbelief.
The immovable position is SAVED.

You don’t believe in Jesus’s death paid for all sins. So which sins besides blasphemy against the Holy Spirit are not covered?
All sins are paid for the person who is believing.
You can't be a believer in Christ and commit the sin of blasphemy of the Spirit at the same time for you to even wonder if the blood of Christ covers it for the believer. Believers don't have that sin.

You need to read my post entirely and use common sense.

And show me the Bible verse that states that setting my cruise control 5 M.P.H. over the limit on an interstate highway (when the majority of traffic flow is whizzing by 10-15 M.P.H. over the limit) is a sin.
You’re making excuses for driving at a higher rate of speed then allotted. Speed kills. Just because other people sin in the same manner doesn’t mean you should join them.

What will be your excuse God forbid you ever have an accident and it is your excessive speed that attributes to someone else being injured?

@Judges1318, why do you believe God would save people and then unsave them? Do you believe God knows everything and that he knows who are His ( see 2 Timothy 2:19)?

A salvation that can be lost... IS a cross without power and a weak incapable Saviour.

No he did not.

He was describing the condition of those who walk after the flesh, in the flesh.

But then he said that we were not in the flesh, but in the Spirit.
Dude, you’re a sinner, period. What differentiates you from some sinners is that you believe in Jesus Christ therefore God’s grace is upon you, as it is for everyone who has faith in Him.

Wrong again.

A saving faith isn't about meeting some quota, it is about whom you place your faith in.

(Belief in, trust in, confidence in, loyalty/ fidelity to)

Those who believe in our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, will be born again.

You deny the ability of the Savior to save.

No.

A salvation that is lost IS a cross that wasn't carried by the ex-believer. He had a strong and capable Saviour. He just didn't want to partake in the sufferings.

How can you with good conscience blatantly ignore the word of God and profess faith in God at the same time?
Because we’re human beings, made in the image of God yet in need of a Savior. A Savior who’s grace covers all sins throughout one’s life. A savior who’s gifts are irrevocable.

You give yourself credit for your salvation while not giving Jesus Christ the credit He should receive ~~ all of it.

Works salvation ^^^^
Indeed.

I cannot for the life of me understand the complete contradiction.

Yes, Jesus saves ............... No, I save myself.

These people are great at cognitive dissonance, that is for sure.

Not even close.

Reformed theologians of the centuries decided the person sanctified by the blood couldn't possibly be a believer because they conclude beforehand that since osas is true it can't be a believer. That's the famous circular reasoning of osas doctrine.

So, to avoid the obvious contextual definition of the sanctified person given right there in Hebrews 10, they picked out an example of a sanctified unbeliever (not sanctified by the blood) and said that's what it must be talking about because osas is true and it can't be anything else.

Besides that definition of the sanctified person defying what the passage itself says is the sanctified person, there is no such thing as a sanctified, fake unbeliever set apart by God as clean for the church. The Bible plainly tells us they are unclean, not sanctified, and are to be removed from the congregation:

"9 I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people—
11But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister c but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people.
13 God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked person from among you.” - 1 Corinthians 5:9,11,13

14Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15What harmony is there between Christ and Belial b ? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?
17Therefore,
Come out from them
and be separate,
says the Lord.
Touch no unclean thing,
and I will receive you.” - 2 Corinthians 6:14-15,17

So your sanctified person in Hebrews 10:29 doesn't even exist! God doesn't sanctify (set apart as clean) fake believers in the church. Reformed theologians, who should know better, invented a sanctified person in the church that doesn't even exist! And they did it to avoid the obvious non-osas message of Hebrews 10. Shame on them. They have led millions astray.

Translation:

You have no excuse for breaking the law other than your narcissistic arrogance.
Even if it was out of narcissistic arrogance, and not because of a willful disregard and a trampling on and abuse of the Spirit of grace, it's covered under the blood and his Dad will deal with it.

The only reason anyone should be defensive about this is if they are purposely tramping on the Blood and abusing the Spirit of grace.
Do you ever sin that way?
I don't think you do, but if you do, or any of us do, we got something to worry about.

This new osas deceives people into thinking they can sin that way.
It's very, very dangerous theology.
This isn't just another theological dispute.

At least the old osas defended the necessity to live holy and not sin.
The new osas says it doesn't matter in the least bit to your salvation.
That's just not true.

believing in Christ
Don't you mean "keep believing sec by sec with all your power and might in Christ"
This is not believing in Christ actually because it denies His complete response to the one act of belief.

You are very disingenuous you know that, you change your argument all the time. At least I am consistent.

You have yet to come to terms with John 3:1-21 and you never will.
