Hey everyone, I'm new to this site but already I'm finding that it is a decent place for some good convos. The world is going through strange times isn't it? Our Lord and savior is closer now than ever before. I am excited to meet the savior of the world, but I still have some goals I hoped to complete before the end. I know that we should not cling to worldly things, but is it wrong to have the goal of meeting a like minded Christian woman to marry before the end of all things?

I am content with whatever the Lord provides, for it is the Lord's will that will be done and not mine. It would be nice to meet someone who desire to share in stories and experiences and to build each other up in Christ. In the past I chased after the wrong kind of thing, but now I know my main purpose is to be a man of Christ. If anything I will be happy to at least make a good friend.

haha you put this in the singles forum?
my thoughts unless you have above $30 million dollars to spend on said virtuous woman its not likely you will find her. Her price is far above rubies.

my advice is, be a good man and dont marry your christian sister. If you want to raise a family you got to be honest on just how you are going to go about doing that right now.

Well I am a single guy so isn't this the right place? As for a family I'm not concerned with trying to raise a family during the end days. I already have amazing children. I'm simply looking for someone to spend time with and share experiences. Friends first of course, as a good foundation would need to be made for anything to last.

I will give you a perspective on how the thing with friends first and then I want you in my bed all to myself looks to many women...a trap.

Friendship ought to be unconditional. So lets just hang out and be friends with whoever and not worry about marriage cos in heaven there aint gonna be any marriage we will be as angels.

There is nothing wrong at all with wanting to meet a like-minded woman to marry. I met my wife on this site who is also a member shortly after I joined in 2014 and we married later in the same year. Not only will you make a good friend you will make a best friend and traveling companion in the adventure of life. In my estimation finding the one of your heart's desire is more of a spiritual thing than a worldly thing. Of course, prayer will be required, and if it is God's will and desire, He will search and find that special woman especially for you. My wife and I build each other up in Christ and hopefully this may be proved true for you as well.

Travelling is a bit hard to do right now. But thing is you have to have the means to do it...if you are going to do it. Im kind of sensing the Lord wants us to stay put in our bubbles right now. lol

Look around on tthis site some are even posting now on singles forum how this or that guy lied to them and broke their heart. would it be insentive to then go on their thread and go hey, are you likeminded and would you like to be friends with me with view to a marriage?

I'm sure that there are reasons how these members formed their own particular view. It appears to me that you have simply adopted the views of others without any personal experience of your own to formulate your own personal perception on intimate romantic relationshps.

We all have goals and aspirations do we not. I see you are against such a thing and so that is good for you. Let each of us be convinced in our own minds. As for me I am content with whatever the Lord provides.

Snuggling and cuddling with just a friend could prove to be problematic.

Love in a marriage should be unconditional, with friends it is very much conditional, at least that has been my own personal experience along with observation.

Interesting thing about marriage in heaven though. Marriage is a contract between a consenting man, a woman, and God and the standard is that it is valid and enforceable until one or the other dies. In heaven there will be no death so therefore there will be no marriage, at least in the way that is known and understood.

I believe that there certainly will be intimate romantic relationships in heaven but that is just my own personal view based on my understanding of certain parts of scripture. The bible says that we will be like the angels are. The question then, is, how are the angels?

There will be no marriage or intimacy in heaven because we are all of the same family and brothers and sisters from the same father. It is strange to think of it like that in this place, but in the new kingdom we will worship God and serve him and his will always. In this place we often serve our ourselves and our desires. I do believe however that we may also serve God in the new kingdom by serving each other in kindness and humility.

Please ignore the negative comments. Some people project their own experiences and ideas onto others. We are not a dating site but there is a range of people here who are happy to form friendships and if things develop from there then that is as it will be. Marriage is not something to be vilified. I am sad to read this attitude. All I ask is that you don't base your opinion of this group on the attitudes of one member.

I won't discuss my age on the public forum, but suffice to say I am looking for a lady in her 20s or 30s. I have 4 amazing children born outside of marriage. As all of mankind is, I am a sinner and used to live in sin and was ignorant to my ways. However I am born again in Christ and as such I desire to be a good man to a woman who so desires such a thing. I wear my heart on my sleeve and as such I have been hurt in many ways, but through it all I have gained much wisdom and understanding. I am very forgiving and understanding and so I seek someone who is non judgmental and compassionate. We all have unique qualities about us and as such I know and have seen others in successful relationships who also work toward loving Christ. This is my desire to find someone who will accept me for who I am and always lift each other up in confidence and love.
