It all started with having lunch with Mom in Little Tokyo.

We grabbed sushi – I got her a sashimi platter and a bento with pork katsu and grilled salmon teriyaki for myself. I think we even shared a small Japanese beer as well. Afterward, we took a walk around, went into a small gift shop. There, as I looked around, saw in one corner, llamas, plush llamas. Yes, llamas. Pipp had this seemingly-unrealistic obsession with llamas – I think I asked her once why and she said, while I don't recall all the details, she was swimming at the beach one day when she was little, went in little too deep and couldn’t get out. As she was struggling, a llama, out of nowhere, came and pushed her to the shore and disappeared into the opposite direction it came from. It was enough to have little Pipp to share this fantasy-like experience with everyone and anyone she could get a hold of. But she had to learn soon to keep it to herself once she overheard her folks discussing about taking her to a doctor. Yeah, anyways, going back to the gift shop, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity and took couple pictures and shared them with her. She liked them. She liked them a lot. So, next time I was in Little Tokyo, grabbed four llamas from the same gift shop. Two big ones and two little ones. I went through all of them, picked the best looking ones I could find. My initial plan was to pack them up in a box and ship it through USPS. But it wasn’t long after since I quit my job at the time, a stressful job that turned my hair salt and pepper, and the idea of taking a long road trip to unwind sounded fitting at the time. Why not deliver these plush toys to her, in that way, I could accomplish three things; getting these llamas to Pipp, have a pleasure of meeting her, and enjoy a nice long road trip at the same time. So it began, a long road trip across the country so these little ones would be loved by one who could truly love them, and perhaps she could reminisce about that one time, a fantasy-like encounter with a real one.

And... that’s how I met Pipp.

I met Pipp at seouls house when she invited me (and everyone else) to stay for a week and told us we had to prepare dinner AND look after her goldfish.

I was no good at looking after goldfish but Pipp, being brilliant at IT said we could turn seouls tv into an aquarium so we wouldnt have to feed her fish, someone else could, and it would be done with video game controls.

we then hatched up a plan where the guys had to cook dinner by making it into a grilling contest while the ladies sat back and had pedicures.

Hope you like vegetarian/vegan food. It will be very plain. Probably have to order some samosas for take out, if you want anything that's has any sort of flavor.

It was a cold and windy morning and I was stranded on the side of the road. It had been the worst morning. I was crying so hard that I didn't hear the tap on the window. It was you, a bus driver, transporting a bus full of missionaries.

Seoul, lynx, mel, cinder, 7bees, miri, soulmate, GG, deade, lafftur, tourist, jesuslives, dino, hamar, kinda, oldhermit, maxwell, shittim, magenta, soulweaver, calibob, lanolin, dusty R, jaumej, poinsetta, blue, zero, ruby, and a few more were all on that bus.

All of you pitched in with comfort and also changed my tire. You all asked me to join you for lunch at a near by coffee shop. I couldn't believe how kind and hospitable you all were to me. We had such a good time laughing and visiting. I felt like I had known you all for a long time. Before the day was out, I gave my heart to the lord. You and I have kept in touch and now I do missionary work with you and the crew.

I fear if Pipp is driving, is it o.k. if 17Bees drives the bus?
