Two beasts and an image.

They both are identified with the personal pronouns he and or him....the image is made by the 2nd beast and empowered by the 2nd beast and represents the 1st beast....

My view based upon Daniel, Revelation, 2nd Thessalonians and History

1st Beast <-12th Imam and or Madhi if Islam

2nd Beast <--False prophet, Last Pope of a unified Roman Catholic/Greek orthodox religion with all fringe and faux so called Christian religions ecumenically tied together

False God promoted and worshipped by all NOT GENUINELY SAVED is Allah

A study of history, major kingdoms to exercise dominion over Middle East (predominantly Jerusalem) and the false gods (Real entitity Satan) reveals his continued attempt to bring this to pass yet continually thwarted by God as it was not yet time.

What is restraining....TIME!

it doesnt say how big it is. But I think maybe its symbolic as 'beasts' signifying world empires in Revelation.

common emblems of world empires include predatory beasts eg

china- dragon
usa- eagle
russia -bear
britain -lion

the last beast is 'like a lamb' but speaks as a dragon, so its probably an empire that appears christian but is actually not and is evil.

The suggestion I posted, here pasted, has no bearing on the beast nor his appearance. It is a synopsis of the history of civilization from beginning to end in advance. Albeit, the beast will come before the unhewn by human hands stone arrives to replace the idol.

As an example, here is an image of a lesser god/love. In the 19th century, French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi designed what today is the statue of liberty in New York harbor. At the statues base is the sonnet by poet Emma Lazarus, which has inscribed the words:
"...Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door"
For generations throughout the world people flocked to these U.S. shores on the IMAGE these words SPOKE to them in their minds.

So now let's go back to the IMAGE of a soon to be greater god/love, that of the seven headed, ten horned beast. After what will be the worst of times throughout the world, when the governments of this world are in free fall, as depicted by the four horsemen of the apocalypse, and when the faithful in Christ will be betrayed by family members unto the death, as depicted in the Olivet discourses, prior to when the abomination of desolation makes his appearance and stands where it ought not; the devil and his angels will then be cast out from heaven unto the earth, where he will then have one last go at making things work on planet earth. The devil who is the dragon will then vest the beast with his power, thus causing the beast's ascension from the sea (which is also the bottomless pit); from which the world will then be in adoration of the dragon for having given the beast his power, and in adoration of the beasts new system, which will have the whole world exclaiming: Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? As all other governments throughout the world prior to the beasts' ascension will have been in collapse mode, as is also depicted by the fatally wounded head of the beast who is resuscitated upon the beasts' ascension from the power in the sea; the "Who is like unto the beast?" means what other governments system is as good as that of the beast's system? And, "who is able to make war with him?" means what other government system is able to contend and provide a better quality of life than that of the beast's system? As this new world order will be loved throughout the world (Revelation 13:4); the beast's mouth will then order the construction of an image to the beast, with words to match at its base, depicting a false narrative (IMAGE) of what many billions of people will voluntarily choose to believe, in place of the truth, where the beast's new world order will in affect, as the Lord informs us, produce woe to the inhabitants of both earth and sea, when the dragon is come down unto the earth (Revelation 12:12).

Revelation 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

An image is not a sculpture.. It is a flat 2 dimensional representation of a 3 dimensional being.. Where do we see 3 dimensional beings rendered accurately and where do we see those images speak????

That's right on a TV screen or any other media device you would like to mention..

You can imagine the anti-christ being shown live all over the world on TV and monitor screens and people hearing his speeches and bowing to the ground no matter where they are to worship him as God on earth..

The image is man. Not the replica . The man of sin. The many antichrists spoken of 1 John .

The replica becomes a false source of faith. used in what the bible calls workers with a familiar spirits. Catholiscim has 3500 and rising. They call them patron saints The bible calls that a abomination of desolation the removeaval of our unseen father as the one source of faith

In that way having the proper interpreting Master as the authority of God. It, the book found (sola scriptura) in the above verse ...it made desolate the law of those kind of fathers that hallow each other " a legion". 3500 and rapidly rising. that are said to to the pew sitters a help in time of need.

Just get the proper image to put a face on unbelief. .

No man can serve two teaching masters in that way .One is our father in heaven.

Actually the Word contains both references, image and idol. They are interchangeable.

You are correct that we can not know every detail of future events and should not hazard a guess.
There are a couple of posters on this forum that should understand that.
I am amazed that they believe they know every detail of what is to come and when it will come.

You mean to say that the whole world is not deceived?

Revelation 12:9:
And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

The mark of the beast is something stuck under the skin to identify the person, and no person can buy or sell without the mark, and a scar of service to the antichrist, beast.

The mark of the beast has to do with technology, for the beast's agenda is there is no personal God to help mankind, and to benefit them, but people's technology and devices can help to achieve peace on earth.

The world will know the agenda of the beast, and worship him before they take the mark of the beast, so then repentance and salvation is no longer available to them, and God will end sin on earth.

United Nations agenda 21, 1992, 179 nations agreed to it, which is a peace plan for the world, but they were not ready to come together yet.

But now they are ready to come together.

Controlled conflict brings about controlled change.

Because of the coronavirus, and possibly another pandemic or more pandemics they will cause the people to take a vaccination with RNA genetic coding, and nanotechnology, which they can also be tracked because of the nanochips in them.

When the nations come together as one to work for peace on earth they will take all people out of the rural areas, and place them in the cities where they will be tracked by 5G technology.

Which will condition them and prepare them for a chip just under the skin linked to satellite, a better tracking system, and can track them outside the city, and can cut down on crime, and find people.

Rev 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
Rev 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

This would have to do with technology.

Will this be large television screens like in New York City, and when the beast appears to speak the people have to bow down and worship him, and if they do not they will perish, for the beast cannot be everywhere at the same time, but by television he can.

The beast is of the occult, and the occult believes in the power of numbers, and the adding, timing, and grouping of numbers, which they believe will give them more power.

6 is the number of a man, or the soul of man, so the New Age Christ assigned the number 666 to himself, a triple 6, for he believes it will give him more power through nature to establish his kingdom, and rule the world.

Ask yourself the following:

What image:
1) do people bow down to and worship
2) do people pray to
3) are people marked with on their forehead with right hand
4) or sign do people impose on them self with right hand
5) were people burned at the stake for not worshiping
6) were people ostracized from their village for not worshiping
7) is indicative of Roman Republic/Roman Empire (Daniel's 4th beast)

I replied in my post,

When the nations come together as one they will take all people out of the rural areas, and place them in the cities because of Agenda 21 sustainability, harmony between nature and people, and no development can happen outside city limits.

So they might have large television screens in the cities, and when the beast addresses the world and speaks they have to bow down to that image.

For that is an image of the beast that can both speak and live, move around in that image.

The dragon is Satan.

USA is not the eagle.

Russia is not the bear.

Britain is not the lion.

Daniel had a vision of 4 beasts, kingdoms, that came one after the other, and they were different than each other which means they all had a chief mode of operation different than each other.

Which are the 4 ways of people, and even though all 4 kingdoms went by the 4 ways there was one mode of operation that was their chief mode of operation, and the other 3 a minor mode of operation, whatever that ratio was.

The first was like a lion, Babylon, and represents human religion, the occult.

It had eagle's wings for king Nebuchadnezzar acknowledged the God of Israel as the greatest god, and God blessed his kingdom.

The king's son blew it by taking the vessels out of the temple of the LORD and drinking out of them praising false gods, the so God stripped the kingdom from him, and gave it to the Medes and Persians, the eagle's wings were plucked, and they were made to stand upon the feet as a man.

Then Babylon became known as the kingdom of man.

The second was like a bear, Medo-Persia, which represents physical cruelty in war, which it says rise up and devour much flesh.

The third was like a leopard, Greece, which represents human wisdom.

The fourth is like iron, Roman Empire, and represents pushing for power, dominion, world domination.

The 4th had 10 horns which is in the future the world split in to 10 sections with a leader in each section, and the antichrist will come from the 10 horns.

The first 3 kingdoms will never have physical dominion again, but their lives were prolonged for a time and a season, which means their ways are still on earth.

The fourth beast does not lose her dominion until Jesus puts down the world, and she shall devour the whole earth, tread it down, and break it in pieces.

And even though the nations came together as one the dominion is the Roman Empire.

The beast kingdom in Revelation 13 is the kingdom of man in its entirety with all 4 chief modes of operation in that kingdom with no minor mode of operation.

Babylon will never have physical dominion again so this kingdom is Babylon in spirit, for Babylon represents the occult, human religion, and the kingdom of man, and that is what the beast kingdom is about.

The beast kingdom acknowledges no personal God.

The 10 horns are the physical dominion, Roman Empire.

With the ways of a lion, the chief mode of operation of Babylon, only going by their own religion.

With the ways of a bear, the chief mode of operation of Medo-Persia, being physically cruel in war to go against everybody that opposes them to get them off the planet.

With the ways of a leopard, the chief mode of operation of Greece, only going by their own wisdom.

The beast has 7 heads, the last 7 kingdoms, and 10 horns the physical dominion of the beast kingdon.

In Revelation 12 the crowns are on the heads, Satan in the spiritual realm deceiving people by way of those 7 kingdoms.

In chapter 13 the crowns are on the horns, Satan in the physical realm deceiving people by the antichrist, New Age Christ.

With the rise of new technologies come new theories, including a hologram, an android, a cyborg, a human-animal hybrid, or a human clone. Whatever it is, the image of the beast is the focal point of worship in the “religion of the beast” during the second half of the tribulation. Paying obeisance to the image of the beast is how the deceived people of the world will worship the “man of lawlessness” (2 Thessalonians 2:3) who sets himself up as a god in the temple of Jerusalem.​

Those who do not worship the image of the beast will suffer the wrath of the Antichrist. First thing that came to mind when it described an image of a beast could be something on a TV screen. I consider the possibility the writer is trying to describe something he didn't have words to accurately describe. Of course that's only speculation and not my firmly held belief.

It's more likely it's a robot, which would have looked quite like a statue to John, I imagine. It's fun to talk about these things, but the language Revelation uses sometimes isn't clear to me and we don't get far.

Many people don't feel confident taking on the responsibility to teach that book or attempt to interpret some of the symbolism. However, it is apparently meant to be read aloud and I think that is key to understanding it.

Idol image are used to put a face on the spirits of lies, called "workers with familiar spirits". Catholics call them patron saints , They have 3500 and rising . Rachel hid her teraphim and image of the idolized dead relatives from her father.

When Hilkiah the priest the book of law (the whole Bible) The Spirit of Christ working in Josiah, put away the image idols.
