things TO say on your first date

well I dont know about flattery for OP!

But dont forget your 'please' and 'thank you' just cos you are on a date doesnt mean your manners fly out the window and you can make demands on your date.

I just checked your profile @ev4989 You're not even a man. Women only follow men. They don't give advice to them unless asked.
No what I was saying was that if I was a man I would have the mental capacity to do so and your right we should not give advice we should just do we don't need to make suggestions because we are the ones doing it we don't need your help, you need ours as teachers are mostly women so unless you are totally uneducated (which I believe )you must have learned from a women at one point in your life.

What if I don't want to date you, yet another woman instead? I don't want to say what I would say to her to you, nor ruin God's inspiration of the moment by making a template out of what to say.

I am looking for a woman younger than me.
No worries, I don’t want to date you either😂.

How old are you Andy and what would be your acceptable age range?

Thank God! I had a two-year relationship with girlfriend that was older than me and it didn't go well despite her being very obedient.

So what do you think about helping out a church in Pakistan for a few months. We will be helping them start a ministry that takes in heroine addicts off the streets, gives them a place to live for a year while they allow Jesus to transform their minds and establish them in the faith. Sound like fun? (Watch her eyes, if you see excitement, she's a keeper)

oh well I wouldnt dont do the pakistan thing I lost a few grand when someone wanted me to go there on a mission. Long story.
If you know the language fine but I didnt take kindly to being swindled by the travel agents.
the thing is now you cant go many places or if you do go you need to be prepared to quarantine.

I think maybe you can talk about what you are already volunteering and maybe join forces then. But dont assume that your date is at a loose end and isnt already doing charitable stuff.

Scribe, that should be every woman, not just the ones you wanna date. Those who aren't interested in that aren't good members of any society. Every woman I dated had those helping instincts in her. I don't even socialize with people who don't have those instincts to begin with.

We’ve had this thread about what not to say on your first date, but let’s turn the tables and chew a little on what you actually should say on your first date with that butterfly filled tummy of yours.

The floor is yours, people, and I want to hear millions of poetic ways of whispering sweet little things into your dates ears.

Remember, flattery is mandatory😁❤️😁.
Would you like some Grey Poupon?

Women who are really interested in doing that have probably already found a way to do it. And if a man asks me something like that and hasn't already been doing stuff like that on his own as a single.... then he's the one who needs to step up his spiritual game before expecting me to step up mine.

Bottom line would be if you're called to doing something, you should already be doing it and yes a spouse compatible with your call is non-negotiable. If you aren't then such a question reeks of expectaions of the other to be the superspiritual and self sacrificing half of the couple.

yep you said it Cinder.
I think on a first date just take a person as they are just as Jesus took you for what you are. Treat them like he treated you.
Its disturbing that a lot of men seem to look down on and patronise women. Have they been living under a rock??? dont they know about being EQUALLY yoked and that means on a spiritual level as well.
while seduction is not going to work with a christian lady neither is spiritual salesmenship.

If men and women are going to get along they will work side by side for God and not one trying to call all the shots and dictation what the other will do. Why is this, its because women actually arent waiting around for a man to direct them. Mary didnt need permission and neither did Martha. in fact, even Jesus mother Mary wasnt waiting around for Joseph, God sent an angel to call her directly she didnt hear it secondhand through Joseph.
