Agree, highly unlikely when people are "specially chosen"

I guess their "god" also delights in denying salvation to the other multitude ... it does not even seem to bother them... that is the part I do not get, they go on and defend and boast about being selected.
No different than the Pharisees....I thank God I am not like that sinner over there......it is sickening and as false as it comes!

You know....Calvinistic dogma says Man A gets lucky and man B thru Z has no option and was made to burn.....

Yet Jesus said clearly...."Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves.

Not only does creation and the invisible testify in every language, the very works of Christ TESTIFY as well......

To say man B thru Z was made for hell absolutely contradicts everything testifying to make them without excuse IF THEY HAD NO OPTION TO CHOOSE TO BEGIN WITH......

My bible is clear....GOD WOULD HAVE ALL MEN be saved....NOT JUST THE LUCKY CALVINITE and He TESTIFIES TO ALL MEN and even tries ONE LAST TIME with the angel of God flying thru the midst of heaven commanding men to repent and GIVE GLORY TO GOD.....

CALVIN'S religion is evil and what it teaches is evil!

Jesus said the kingdom is like a PEARL OF GREAT PRICE....and when a man FINDS IT he does what exactly!!!!

Emphasis upon the MAN FINDING IT!!!

Men always choose sin and self.
God elects to save a multitude and enable them to be willing psa110:3

There are two groups
condemned
justified

All who remain in Adam are condemned

All in Jesus by new Birth are justified.

When you deny this you deny biblical revelation.
Two groups: saved and unsaved.

Where does scripture teach God chooses Group A and Group B HE denies or withhold's salvation.

"10Not only that, but Rebekah’s children were conceived at the same time by our father Isaac. 11Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad—in order that God’s purpose in election might stand: 12not by works but by him who calls—she was told, “The older will serve the younger.” d 13Just as it is written: “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.e

14What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all! 15For he says to Moses,

I will have mercy on whom I have mercy,
and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.
f
16It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy. 17For Scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” g 18Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.

19One of you will say to me: “Then why does God still blame us? For who is able to resist his will?” 20But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’ ” h 21Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?"

You have not defended it with scripture and neither has anyone else. It is not scriptural. Thus, it cannot be defended with scripture. We cannot change the meaning of words around, take scripture out of context, and say that it somehow harmonizes. It does not.

The truth is if you honestly look at scripture, then the scripture will defend its self.
You look but lack spiritual eyesight .
Your post indicates a lack of knowledge of the Salvation spoken of in scripture.

The Holy Spirit does not teach.....

People cannot respond to the power of the message of the Gospel
God bestows His grace only on those He has chosen and denies others His grace
He forces His grace on people and drags them to salvation by regenerating them first
Jesus died only for some
One must prove their faith by preserving

I guess, this is where we are going to have to just disagree. I've said it every way I possibly know how, and used the scripture to show my point of view. I know you think you are trying to help me to see what you see, but with respect I have to say to me it is plain and simple. The scripture is clear to me.

I am not a preacher or teacher, so maybe I am not getting it across clearly to you. I don't know how else to say it, but there are others on here, @Nehemiah6 , @dcontroversal , @EleventhHour , @Duskey, and a few others who have done an outstanding job of getting the meaning across, in my opinion.

Anyways, I think I have said all I can on the matter, with what amount of free time I have. So I'm just going to have to disagree and leave it at that for now.

And when they find that Pearl ... it made me think of this scripture...

I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
Luke 15:7

If God forces regeneration why would He rejoice... Calvinism is such nonsense and heartbreaking as well.

There is a blindness that comes with Calvinism, blindness to clear, plain scripture.

That is why we all need to stay away from even the more palatable Calvinists like MacArthur, Piper, Washer and there are many... they make it sound good but underneath the same Gospel denying message.

The Holy Spirit As Teacher.

You-And You Do Not Need Anyone To Teach You.

But as His anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit-just as it has taught you, remain in Him..1 .John 2:27.

The Holy Spirit Is My Teacher.

Yeah, and that is why I am just going to have to leave it alone for now. I have tried to be open to it in the past and/or at least tried to understand where they are coming from, but I cannot. It all comes back to the fact that it is denying the message of the Gospel. It changes the meaning of words, takes scripture out of context, and in my opinion, flatly denies the Gospel.

Since you agree with all the doctrines of Calvinism, by liking the posts of Calvinists like @Iconoclast @Grandpa etc.,

and since Calvinism is not scriptural that refutes that the Holy Spirit is teaching you.
