Does your threads get lost in the older threads?

I don't create to many new threads, so I haven't noticed.
However, I have noticed several threads in the forums that it is apparent this has happened to.
I personally like to scroll through the different forums from time to time looking for threads that I would have interest in that perhaps were missed,
Yours, Roughsoul, are often in that collection.

It happens. I have noticed it with threads I made, as well as threads others made that seemed out of place. (How did I miss that topic before? I SWEAR it wasn't there a couple hours ago...)

If the forum code permits it, perhaps the moderator who approved it could register it as being started when approved, not being started when it was submitted.

If the forum code does not permit this, perhaps the approving moderator could make a post in the thread. Doesn't have to be fancy, just "Approved" or something.

If that doesn't catch on, you can always bump your own thread. While generally frowned upon as an attention grab, in this instance thread bumping is totally valid as a workaround for a problem.

Another thought:
Sometimes I have to keep in mind the differences in time around the world.
Like when I am up all night and have cruised all over CC and think "Man, isn't there anything new to look over"
I have to keep in mind that if I'm awake in the middle of the night here that my friends on the other side of the world are most likely busy during their waking hours with work/school/life........

I like making threads and I definitely notice this, I know a thread I made on the Bethel Church was basically up in I wanna say 30-45 mins, but my newest one took a few hours.

It all depends on time zones as someone mentioned and probably the Mods have to check if the thread follows the website guidelines and whatnot.

But that is a good point to bring up: “What if someone needs help/prayer/answers now and can’t wait?”, well I think if they are relying on a thread for these reasons, they just need to pray to god for patience and help, and maybe reach other to other Christians (Like with the private message feature) that are their friends for questions. Maybe even reaching out to Christians friends on other social platforms could help, but that’s a tough question, especially if the matter at hand is very sad/distressing.

The time it takes is no problem for me, it's just by the time they are checked, there are many new threads and it seems if you do not make it on the home screen it can be lost. Lost as in not really seen by many.

Basically, if you create a thread at 8:00 a.m. and the moderator doesn't check the new threads until 2:00 p.m.

Once the threads are released then any early threads do not make on the new threads area at the home screen. It seems if the thread isn't seen at the home page then it gets lost in older threads.

I like to discuss certain topics or hear others feedback but it has happened quite a few times.

Does this happen to others?

I created one yesterday in BDF and seems it's still not approved but not sure if it's because of the thread itself (if my social satire will be found acceptable) or because mods didn't have time.

I'm not sure I have your problem but you could ask in the suggestions forum or think of a solution.
Are you posting in a forum that lots of other people are also posting in so its being pushed to the back.
You could post in a different one that doesnt get many posts, and it will be on the top of the list.

eg the news forum obviously is one since we get news every day, and also the BDF are quite busy, but not so many post in miscellaneous.

I feel yah, it can be annoying. Not sure if it was meant to be designed that way but the newest topic area will not show me the newest released threads.
