Acoustic guitar recommendations (Budget US$200)

Good beginner guitars or budget musician guitars are in my opinion the Yamaha brands. This is just a example. Search around and always compare prices. Look for deals too. Every now and then check out local pawn shops, flea markets, garage sells, or online buy/sell groups.

I take it you're just getting started with playing guitar? I suggest that, if you are within driving distance, go to a well-equipped music store, explain your budget, and request to try a few instruments in that range. Ask about prices for used, and get one that feels good to you. I would recommend a music store over a private sale because they will be able to answer more questions and have the store's (hopefully good) reputation behind them.
The "feel" part may seem petty, but for a beginner, it's actually important. If you don't enjoy playing your guitar because it doesn't "feel" right to you, you won't want to play it, and you'll possibly resent having paid the money for it.
Also, don't worry about the guitar's appearance at this point. "Feel" is far more important.

Classical guitar strings are also easier on the fingers

That sounds like an interesting arrangement Are all ukes like that?
Of course with a classical guitar, the fingering is a little more spaced out, which can also be good as it gives more room for finger placements on the fret board, though you also have to stretch a little further ... and transferring what you might learn on a classical guitar to a steel string/acoustic or electric guitar is not onerous at all.

Yamaha F310 are reasonable acoustic guitars at a low price. (Yamahas are usually well made even at the lower end of the price range, unlike many other Big brand names.) The suggestion you go check them out first is really
Wise though, but I would scour there reviews for Longevity of quality on any you like as not all age well. Epiphone AJ210CE is worth looking at as well if you fancy an electro acoustic but they are maybe a bit over budget. Yamahas generally would be my go to for a beginner. Second hand if possible.
