Calling Jesus "Lord,' without choosing to obey Him with one's life, is useless and is not able to save anyone.

People who say "the sinner's prayer" of repentance - but make no effort to put it to practice in their lives, are only deceiving themselves! They can't get to heaven that way! People who are deceived into thinking that can get them to heaven, are those who think they can get that wonderful gift of salvation completely for free. Have you ever noticed how quick people are to accept a free gift that they really want? There are some things that everyone wants. And salvation is one of those things. They may not all know about Jesus and the salvation that comes through Him. But no one wants to end up in a place like hell! So in effect, they do all want salvation. But only those who are willing to "pay"(accept Jesus as Lord and Savior of their life) the hugely reduced "cost" (the cost of having perfect righteousness and having never sinned) they must "pay" "(accept Jesus as Lord and Savior of their life) can be saved.
Luke 14:27-28
27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
KJV

Matt 7:21-23
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

oh no were on Lordship salvation again .
Notice Jesus never knew them. We have to have both . Know God and be known by him . ( Gal 4 ) 9But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
There is only one command to obey in the church age and its be reconciled to God. 1 cor 5.19 - 20 .
Jesus already paid the cost . He already died for their sins . But they need to recieve through believing the Gospel .

Matthew 7:21 - Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in heaven.

John 6:40 - For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.

New babes in Christ repeat a 'sinner's prayer' because they are told that is a first step. I did it.
With maturity we discover that much of what we think we know early on is either a simplified version of a deeper truth or just the ideas from the fallen minds of men.

WE don't need to do anything, it is all done for us. All of God, nothing of us. soli Deo gloria

EPHESIANS 1:3-11
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, 4 even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him. In love 5 He predestined us for adoption to Himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, 6 to the praise of His glorious grace, with which He has blessed us in the Beloved.

7 In Him through His blood we have redemption, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, 8 which He lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight 9 making known to us the mystery of His will, according to his purpose, which He set forth in Christ 10 as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in Him, things in heaven and things on earth.

11 In Him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,

I understand how you view it and am well familiar with this way of viewing it. But it is not what I see to be the correct way to see, it according to what I see in the scriptures. Though some under these teachings you hold to - are true Christians, I know - many others of them are not, but think that they are. That is something to be concerned about. The verses you posted, refer to those who are faithful to the gospel - not to those who turn away from it or never bother to start out with sincerity.

The Galatians who were returning to "beggarly elements" were turning away from lordship to Christ - to that of trying to earn their own salvation without repentance and reliance upon the cross.

Indeed, you're right - there are many who don't even believe in the existence of hell. But what I'm saying is that none in this world would be in favor of ending up in hell, if they knew about it and understood it correctly. The word, "salvation" just means "having been saved" from something. But the word, "salvation" in the Bible always refers to the salvation provided by Jesus through His death on the cross. Everyone likes the idea of being saved from trouble and punishment - anything painful or miserable. But not all are willing to accept the gift of salvation sincerely, because they have other "gods" (anything a person values more than God) that they have chosen.

No human on this planet is perfectly sinless. Only Jesus was perfect, and He was God come down in the form of human flesh.

Turning away from Lordship to Christ ? is that a biblical phrase? Its sounds like ' Lordship to christ " is earning salvation. The whole book of Galations is about the freedom in Christ and the dangerous error of Jesus + , legalism.

Faith is an interesting concept in that it takes away my or your position of judging another persons relationship with God . Each is accountable to Christ for what they know .

be careful about explaining who can’t be saved by the lord Christ has salvation covered and he will decide were meant to share the gospel and let the word work in people

you stopped your quote right at the solution and answer

“And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.”

there were judaizers who were trying to tie in the law of Moses with the gospel of the kingdom . Many still do that today

Some hold that the gospel Jesus taught is connected to the law of Moses , and they then exclude Jesus words. Others try to marry the law and gospel which doesn’t work there’s the law and Moses covenant and then there’s Christ and the new covenant .

Paul was refuting the judaizers and thier additions to the gospel
