This is more accurate than YouTube prophets, and a better love story than Twilight.

My cat plays fetch and follows me around and usually comes when called. He is also super cuddly and kneads my back with soft paws. You can teach your cat anything that you would teach your dog, just need patience and treats. Some like to take walks you can train them to a leash.
Cats are the best dogs, just need to pick one with the right personality for you.

Oh the sweet misery of smelling cat urine in the morning :sick: no I can't
You don't smell anything in the room using a good clumping litter (ours smells like lavender) and daily scooping. Some people are lazy and filthy but upkeep with cats is possible. I add clean litter gradually and once a month I replace the whole litter. And if there's something around smelling unpleasant, believe me I'll sniff it out, I'm THAT person going around "something smells here" long before other people notice. My landlord told me once very shocked upon visit, "I would never guess you had a cat if you didn't tell me, no smell or hair" (they are pet free). People think cats are smelly probably because they sometimes ran into a lazy person who never cleaned. Can't let the litterbox go and not clean it for a week. Cats are predators and don't like to leave any scent they love cleanliness. We have litterboxes in the hallway where washer&dryer are, but in the future when we have our own home, we will basically conceal them into sitting benches in the living room with a little litter mat area so there's zero tracking. And also vent them out with a small vent, so any smell will literally be impossible...

I'm a dog person. Dogs love to be ordered around and told what to do. Cats don't. I've never seen a cat chase a frisbie into a pond or pool. I've never seen a cat attack on command. You can't even teach one to fetch a newspaper or a beer. They're almost like people. They kinda expect you to respect their feelings. LOL :ROFL: Not really, but I once had a dog that liked to watch Sesame Street, Really!!

Cats have very diverse personalities. I know a woman whose cat tore up her husband's leg because he raised his hand as they were angrily discussing about something, and the cat thought that he would attack her (he wouldn't, they just both raised their voices and he was gesticulating). He tore up his leg instantly, without command. Now this is something you'd typically expect from a dog. Sucks for his leg, he had stitches, but they argued more calmly ever since

Agree. I actually really like that about them. There's nothing funnier than one of our cats, who is very clumsy, every time he misses and slips and falls he pretends nothing happened and basically stares us down "nothing to see here, I did not just try to jump, you just thought so" and walks away with a brisk poise. Then he comes back and tries again a few mins later after everyone "forgot" what happened.
