I never stated it was dangerous to work

you my friend have to got stop misrepresenting what others say. You sit here and for months have insisted we need to work at the law, yet you continually break the commandment that says “thou shalt not bear false witness“
Here is a copy of what your post said: "it is very dangerous to do what many do and try to work out the law".

Your works are to magnify and glorify your father in heaven.

(On a side note)
How much a hour are you or they getting paid? I don't know if I should ask for a raise because of that benefit package that's offered is out of this world😂😂😂😂
If the only reason to work is to glorify self, then are you recommending that we are disobedient, for to not work it to disobey?

I don't think that we can honor the Lord within us and be disobedient. Sin separates us from the Lord, for the Lord cannot live with sin.

The Lord cannot even hear people who will not obey Him. John 9:31 “We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will.”

If you are responding to the Father within, if you are walking with the Lord the benefit package is forgiveness of sins and eternal life. No earthly wage can compare. As an extra bonus are the fruits of the spirit.

Then all are lost and doomed. Because we all were dead in trespass, and we all sin and come short of the glory of God. There is none Godly.

Such profound thoughts. The Lord is never for extremes I have noticed. The Lord is a master of balance.

Frank Sinatra wasn't speaking of the Lord's ways when he sang "All or nothing at All".
Are you being snide to me now? Seriously? Shows your spirit.
God said in the Bible in different places "turn not to the right way, or to the left". It's also "the narrow place, where the angel of God stood". And where "there was not place to turn to the right or the left".

As long as we properly understand that we are saved FOR good works and NOT BY good works (Ephesians 2:8-10) we remain in balance, unlike those who teach salvation by faith and works or salvation by grace plus law, faith plus works.

Romans 3:24 - being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. 27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.

Matthew 5:16 - Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

1 Corinthians 15:58 - Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
Yes exactly.
Everything is ok as long as the whole Gospel is preached. If some parts are diminished in favor of others, it stops being the same gospel any more. Which is what I believe it means, don't turn the right or the left, and, the way is straight and narrow. Right would be legalism and left would be license per example. Neither of these two are true, even though there is both righteousness and also freedom in the gospel.
It's noticeable that some members like talking ONLY about works and law. This is not the fullness of the truth.

If we are dead in our trespass then Christ died for nothing. Through Christ we are forgiven, made clean of our sin, made into souls acceptable to live forever with the Lord. We are lost and doomed not longer if we have faith in Jesus and ask Him to forgive our sins.

Some say that after our salvation, we are free to live a life of sin, but when we are freed of the death of sin, when we confess and tell the Lord we want rid of sin in our life, why should we take that back and tell the Lord we didn't mean it, we want our sin?

No, dear. I discuss scripture, you discuss ways to personally attack me rather than discussing scripture with slandering, accusing, name calling. There are Christians on this site, ones who can disagree without the name calling, accusations, and awful things said about the posters. We learn from each other. There is no learning in your quarrelling, name calling, accusations.

Ephesians 4:31-5.2 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

Back up your accusation that I attack a person, or shut up about accusing me of this. I disagree with your position on how you know the law better than those who love God's law, and on your emphasis on anything you find that you feel is against the law. That is opposing your view of the importance of the different things God tells us about the law, it is NOT attacking you personally. You oppose my view that the law is a wonderful guidance the Lord gives us, and that is fine. That is your interpretation of scripture. But your posts are mostly quarrelling, accusing, judgmental. To that I object. I would like to discuss scripture with Christians, and this is not Christian.

That's the problem with alter call decision theology. You say that is someone buys the sales pitch and says the repeat after me follow the bouncing ball sinners prayer they are saved. I say if they are converted they are saved.

I don’t have to do it, you do it so often it is there for everyone to seem and multiple people accuse you of it, we can’t all be wrong

you slandered Me by saying I said work is dangerous when I never said such thing,

I said work of the law

and you can not even humble yourself to admit you made a mistake, instead you attack me,

Glory be! So your slander of me is based on your saying "works of the law" instead of saying "works"!! Come on. If you see a difference, say so. Slandering me over it is wrong, explaining yourself would be kind and Christian.

I am supposed to humble myself to you now? Are you superior? Even the constitution tells us all men are equal. The Lord agrees.

The fact of the matter is that you have a right to post your interpretation and I have a right to post mine. The idea that I must humble myself so I agree with your interpretation, having no rights to listen to the Lord in how the Lord speaks to me, is wrong. How would you like it if I told you to see things my way or the highway? I may not take away your rights, and you may not take away mine, or slander me because of my interpretation.

Paul states it pretty clearly here to the church in Colossae:

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Col. 3:23-25

So many Christian business people try and point out that we are called to excellence.

But I think they are fundamentally wrong. I cannot find anywhere in the bible that requires us to "excel."

Instead, I believe it is a question of being willing to work hard. In God's economy, that is what really counts. Proverbs sums it up well:

The Lord does not let the righteous go hungry, but he thwarts the craving of the wicked. A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich. Prov. 10:3-4

OH MY!

you have gone to a new low, here let’s me prove it to you (although if history continues, this will not prove a thing to you, you will continue to deny it

My statement (or my belief as you said here) was this

, and it is very dangerous to do what many do and try to work out the law after they have come to christl.
your reply, which in itself was slanderous

Did you read a scripture telling you that to work is dangerous? I have read scripture telling that to love is to work and obey, not one telling us not to work because of the danger in work.
to which, as you said in the current post, I tried to correct you by saying I did not say work was dangerous. But that trying to work out the the law after yu are saved

Work out the law”.

and “work”

you do not have the right to twist what I said,
to which you continue to refuse to repent of making an error in which you claim I said WORK was dangerous, something I HAVE NEVER SAID. Yet you seem to want to continue to insist I did, YOUR WRONG!

my last post to you was correctl I do not have to prove anything to you, you do more than enough to prove yur proud slanderous ways, now yu claim I slandered your u?

maam, yu need to wake up and take ownership of your sins against me and others, yu can not sit here and continually claim people say things they have never said or even hinted at, and then tell us how we have to be obedient people. That’s makes you a hypocrite, of the worse kind.

one of her tricks is when someone quotes Scripture to her that she is not familiar with, instead of acknowledging that the Scripture is also a part of God's Word, she says ' so YOU are saying....." or " do YOU think that....."

it is easy to stay in a state of " i am right and everyone is wrong" when you do not acknowledge that Scripture is Scripture..
