Hi there to all of you. So I've been in two minds whether I should place my footprint here or not... the need for fellowship drives me to unusual routes, but it has been a very long time since I have interacted with people in a setting like this.
It is the nostalgia of my childhood that brings me here. Being a Christian, and on top of that, a teacher's daughter, acceptance was never easily found growing up, and that was when I discovered the comfort and fellowship of forums
But it's been years since I've dared to engage them again!
The truth be told, I have always been a little... different. And by different, I probably mean PASSIONATE... my first love and commitment has always been the Lord. With the rejection of my peers in school, God's grace led me to lose myself in His Word and discover the WORLD that was contained inside.
As a child, I had the innocence to believe it, and more than that, I longed for it. I longed to live the life I discovered in the Word; a life that centered around God, where miracles existed and people are called to leave their every-day lives in a pursuit of Christ; a world where people didn't just read the Word, but they actively pursued it and lived out their convictions; where they bore their cross, even denied themselves to follow Him...
Life has happened since then; years have passed, but that desire has never changed. Nor has the longing to meet and engage others like-minded.
So here I am, hoping to build new connections and find others who share the same mind.
