Jesus sits on a throne on the right side of the Father but nowhere in the bible does it say that the throne that Jesus is currently sitting on is the throne of David. The bible is clear in that the throne of David is in Jerusalem and that Jesus will be sitting on it at the appointed time. Show me the scripture that states that the throne in heaven is actually the throne of David. If so, this contradicts the scripture that states explicitly that the throne of David is in Jerusalem.
The prophecy fulfillment of Jesus Christ sitting on David's throne is before your very eyes, it was fulfilled in the resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ to the right hand of the Father, Basic, Simple, And Very Easy To Understand.

We Will Disagree, The Horse Is Dead (y)

Acts 2:29-36KJV
29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ,
that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

So you are saying God is actually David?
That's your (False Claim)

Jesus Christ In The Resurrection Has Fulfilled The Prophecy Of David.

Jesus Christ Currently Sits Upon The Throne Of David, And The Eternal New Jerusalem Will Descend From Heaven With This Throne (Forever)

There Will Be No Future (Earthly Throne) During A Millennium, A False Teaching Of Man.

Psalm 132:11-14KJV
11 The Lord hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
12 If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.
13 For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
14 This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

Revelation 21:1-5KJV
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Revelation 22:1-3KJV
1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

There Will Be No Future (Earthly Throne) of David During A Millennium, A False Teaching Of Man.

Jesus Christ returns in fire, dissolving this earth, the eternal begins then.

Didn't you state "The prophecy fulfillment of Jesus Christ sitting on David's throne is before your very eyes, it was fulfilled in the resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ to the right hand of the Father, Basic, Simple, And Very Easy To Understand. "?

Would you like to elaborate on that? Either you believe that God is David, or the right hand side of the Father is David's throne

Which one is it?

Many suggest that Jesus Christ is going to return to earth, taking a throne of King David?

The scripture below warns believers against this false teaching, and the walk on christ, Jesus Christ wont be found any place upon this earth.

However the (Antichrist/Beast/Man of Sin) will, proclaiming to be Messiah to the Jews, and Jesus Christ returned to the apostate church.

Believe It Not, Go Not Forth!

Matthew 24:24-27KJV
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Beware!

The Throne of David may be interpreted, The Throne of the Beloved, for David translated from the Hebrew means Beloved, our Lord and Savior is Who I understand this throne being His for eternity.

The question is, will Jesus Christ return to earth, and take a physical throne as many teach?

I suspect that you have captured the main point; The New Jerusalem will come down out of Heaven to where David's Throne was. A throne represents authority.
You are talking about The New Jerusalem which comes down from heaven AFETR the creation of a new heavens & earth.
Jesus will redeem this planet and rule here on David's throne, physically.
The present creation is currently groaning for The King to rule in righteousness on this earth.

Which Bible are you reading?

It's a repeated promise throughout prophecy.
Jesus Christ wont be found anyplace upon this earth, he warned his followers of this false teaching (Beware) of the future Antichrist in Jerusalem!

Go Not Forth, Believe It Not!

Matthew 24:23-27KJV
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

Misapplication of scripture.
Every eye will see his return and we will be transformed to immortal bodies. There won't be any question who he is.
That is why we don't need to follow anyone or go looking for him. He will gather us.

I advise you against Jew-hatred. The Bible teaches that a Jew will rule this world from a Jewish kingdom.
He has promised this. since Genesis.

Christ is our reigning King now. He reigns Already and forevermore.

Eph 1:20-22

20 that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church,

John 18:33-38 -

33 So Pilate entered his headquarters again and called Jesus and said to him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” 34 Jesus answered, “Do you say this of your own accord, or did others say it to you about me?” 35 Pilate answered, “Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests have delivered you over to me. What have you done?” 36 Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.” 37 Then Pilate said to him, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world—to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.” 38 Pilate said to him, “What is truth?”
After he had said this, he went back outside to the Jews and told them, “I find no guilt in him.

Just as the Jesus and the kingdom are not of this world, remember neither are we (although for time we live in it). it's that Already but not yet.

Philippians 3:17-21

17 Join together in following my example, brothers and sisters, and just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do. 18 For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. 19 Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things. 20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

Our hope is not for a Hellenist kingdom of other-worldy existence. Or hope & his promise is his reign on this earth.
Since Genesis God has promised to redeem the earth he created.

Revelation 11

15 The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:

“The kingdom of the world has become
the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah,
and he will reign for ever and ever.”
16 And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying:

“We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty,
the One who is and who was,
because you have taken your great power
and have begun to reign.

Hi,

Lucy-Pevensie. I suppose when we look at our view of Christ reign as King. We will differ depending on our eschatological views.
that's why I added this in my above post: "Just as the Jesus and the kingdom are not of this world, remember neither are we (although for time we live in it). it's that Already but not yet. "

Anyhow I enjoyed reading your post (y)

I agree, his Kingdom is not of this world. Sorry if it seemed like I was brushing that point aside.
"This world" I have always taken to mean The World System. Empire, human government.

But he has promised to take up rule of The Earth.

You, like most tbh, missa few things here, some I will cover in another post I reply to below, no use in doublespeak. First off, there is really no need for the Anti-Christ to proclaim to be the Messiah save for ONE REASON, and that is to deceive the Jews who have fled unto Petra that God Himself is protecting, EVERYONE ELSE, this Anti-Christ can get at, he will have all the Data points from Facebook, from the Intelligence Agencies etc. all, thus he can stop all buying and selling, he can get at anyone he wants to save for those Jews in the Petra/Bozrah mountain are. So, the above, if you notice, does just the opposite of what you think it does, Jesus doesn't say that the future Jews accept the Anti-Christ, he says just the opposite IF we read the text.

Matt. 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, IF IT WERE POSSIBLE, they shall deceive the very elect. 25 Behold, I have told you before. (BEFOREHAND) 26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

So, Jesus just told the Jews who will be THE ELECT (those who have repented, as seen Zechariah 13:8-9 and Malachi 4:5-6, BEFORE the coming Day of the Lord) in the above verse, exactly where he will be coming from, BEFOREHAND, so they can not be deceived, that is why he says, IF IT WERE POSSIBLE, meaning God just said it was not possible because I, your Savior/God, have foretold you, I will not be in Jerusalem(Secret storeroom), or in the desert, but I will come from the Eastern Skies and all men will see me coming in the clouds. So, how is the Anti-Christ going to deceive these Jewish people? It is not possible, that is what Jesus just told us if we read between the lines. So, you are spotlighting the wring verses, the GO NOT FORTH doesn't mean they go forth, that is why he tells them BEFOREHAND, making it impossible that they receive this man as their Messiah. The truth is, he never pretends to be the Jewish Messiah to all the rest of the world, but he does try to deceive those Jews in Petra, as in I am your Messiah or Political Savior, come out of hiding, but those Jews have been FOREWARNED, Amen. It is not possible for him to deceive the very elect, and you know why? Jesus told them in Matthew 24, AND the Two-witnesses have told them, they are the 1335 BLESSING (Elijah is sent to turn Israel back unto God BEFORE the DOTL (Malachi 4:5-6).

One verse that takes many people down this wrong road is John 5:43, but that verse is not about the Jews accepting false messiahs during the end time, it was specifically about the Pharisees who lived during Jesus' time, he told THEM SPECIFICALLY, I came from the Father and you rejected me, if (when) another comes in his own name, him you will accept. Just before 70 AD these Jewish leaders, understanding that Rome was the Fourth Beast, were looking for their "POLITICAL SAVIOR" (they do not the Messiah as the son God, they see him as a Political savior), thus they put forth varied different men as this political savior. He has to be a Jew, however, so no Jew, even the 2/3 who refuse to repent (Zechariah 13:8-9) is going to accept this Gentile as their Messiah. That is just a misinterpretation of the scriptures brother.

Well, I saw Corban has been banned, so I just answered in full here.............
