I like zucchini too and it is so healthy if not "boiled in oil", but there is a joke around here that you need to lock your car in the summer or someone will come along and put a bag of zucchini in your car.........

let me whisper this to ya p- maybe those of us who live in the south should not complain toooo loudly against winter......

i mean, in north ga. right now, it is 30, getting up to 53 today.

i am sure that those who read this who are in northern climates would love have 30 and 50 today...

but, that being said, that was a good one you did.....
.......sigh......... I know. I LIVE in the HEART OF DIXIE........not the heart of the North Pole!

guess I'm gonna have to move to CancocanutIlse or some such...... I'd get there though, and they would have a hard freeze, sleet and snow for the FIRST TIME EVER!

Been playing the market...
Not an altogether bad idea for me.

I was good at it in my youth.
My wife, upon finding out I can still do well with it, has been looking at me like I'm stupid.

Motivation is everything to me and I'm not motivated so much by raw money...I know a lot of people are...

To me this stuff is just boring in a lot of ways. But if it brings in a paycheck I guess that's just what I'll have to do.

I'm up over $1,100 for two days.
Meh...still not excited about it.

Personally, I'd rather be cold than hot any day. I'm more miserable during warm/hot weather than I ever am during cold weather. That's how I feel.

Guess I'm just an Eskimo at heart. :p

Plus too, all the bugs/insects come out in the heat. 😬

Like chocolate cake, or carrot cake, or any baked goodie :D(y)

You can even add shredded/grated potato to baked goods :)

And prolly even milk shake type drinks, and/or smoothies ;)

The bugs and other vermin want to come inside during the cold also :LOL:

But I'm like you: I'd rather put on a sweater or hoodie if it is too cool than suffer with excessive heat :D

Here is a tip for using Zucchini...

Being type 2 diabetic , this is very friendly for making what is called Mock apple crumble...

I slice the Zucchini up into wedges , ( towel dry the water off ) place them in the bottom of a little glass oven dish , add some Sultanes , and make crumble with Almond flower , add some cinnamon to for extra flavour , it is delish with oat milk cream , and very healthy...

It tastes like apple crumble...

Ritz Biscuits used to have a recipe on their box for using their crackers to make a pseudo apple pie o_O

I tried it once as a teen and it was surprisingly good :D

Good point. The cold may not get rid of the bugs completely. It's just that there's a lot less of them. 🙂
Having a cat helps. When you see a cat gazing intently at something, like up to the ceiling, you know a bug is there :giggle:(y):geek:

Cats also eat bugs ;):D
