I agree. It's the same reason I don't vote either. Thing is, God was Israel's king in the beginning, but Israel chose a bramble from the people. (Judge 9:14-15) This said, if Republicans really were God's people, they would not have chosen a bramble king to be their ruler.

Neither do I. But I had my bets that Biden would take the throne for a bit. I believe Daniel 9:20 was fulfilled by Trump.
You make valid points. :)

I personally don't believe that America is in prophecies in the Bible because I don't see it, maybe I am missing something. You are welcome to teach me and I will have a look :)

In Ezekiel Tarshish is Britain and the young Lions are her allies; USA was once part of our empire and is still our ally.

How is it you interject yourself in other peoples exchange?
This is how:
I am a part of the Body of Christ and it is my duty to love my brethren; love always protects. This is a young and precious believer.
I have as much right as anyone else to speak freely on this forum and make comments; especially when it is for the sake of good.
Did you consider that my interjection may be of the Lord?

Open rebuke is better than secret love...

Let's take, for a start, Mr. Trump's election slogan at the beginning, which was "AMERICA FIRST"

First of all, Jesus said "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight for it", but second of all, a good servant would not put his own name / glory first, but humble himself and serve the others. In that, this slogan "AMERICA FIRST" is quite self-magnifying for a proper believer. What say you?
America isn't a theocracy nor should it be. I don't think God approves of forcing Christianity on anyone, preferring they instead willingly choose Him.

Rather, the American government is for regulating a diverse society with a complex economy.

Jesus Christ's millennial kingdom may be along the lines of what you are looking for. It isn't for us to setup and establish, Christ will do it after His second coming.

Alright, I've got a few readily in mind, but first of all, from about Daniel 11:14 where it says "the children of the violent among your people will lift themselves up to establish the vision", it starts to talk about Bush Jr. That passage is telling about the Twin Tower destruction where Mosad Israeli agents blew up the towers and blamed Al-Qaeda for the evil. And at v19 is Bush's end. My belief is v20 is about Trump, but it's a bit complicated. In LXX, in actual Greek, the wording of the verse is quite different, and it says:

"Out of his root, a plant will arise [violating/infringing] to exercise kingly glory during/over his preparation, but in those days he will be destroyed neither publicly nor in war."

It's just a conjecture, but since Bush and Trump are both Republicans, you could say Trump was a plant of his root. "Preparation" is a word that is not found in probably any English version, and in politics, a king's preparation is an election, so that is my guess. Violation could well refer to the Gmail scandal caused on Hilary. Finally, the end of Trump admin was an "election fraud", but he lost nonetheless without conceding. In that, Trump actually was destroyed neither publicly nor in battle. This is strong to me, but it's only in Septuagint, and it's controversial, I suppose. In any case, I think Dan 11 speaks of America.

(I have to correct myself bcs I typed Daniel 9 instead of 11.)

Second, Jeremiah 50:23 - "Hammer of the whole earth." This one seems to speak to me the heaviest.

Third, Jeremiah 50:12 - "last of all nations" / "Hindermost of all nations." The word can mean youngest. While US isn't exactly the youngest, there is a possibility here.

Fourth, Zech 2:6-7 - "flee from the land of the north, ..." "O Zion, deliver yourself, you that dwell with the daughter of Babylon." I am not sure what Zion should mean, but whether Hebrews or Christians, they have to escape the land of the north, and... Dan 11 also reads about a kingdom of the north. It's something at least.

That seems a lot of stretching of scriptures to make them mean something they were no intended to mean.
From where we are today, Ephesians on is pretty much for us, we haven't been under old testament for 2,000 years.
even two of the gospels state in the first chapters they were written to tell who Jesus was, and after 2,000 years we pretty much know who He was.
best wishes

Is that so? Then why did Daniel see visions of beasts? Why do you think Jesus said "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them." The entire Torah (Genesis-Deuteronomy) is the law. Not everything in them has been fulfilled, and you can go and see for yourself. (Ex. Numbers 35.)

What about "the Day of the Lord" from various prophets including Zechariah? You think it has been fulfilled?

What about the entire last half of Daniel 11? You think all of that has already happened? If so, would you care to elaborate?

That was all before the day of pentecost, Jesus told us clearly ALL things had become new with Him.
We live in an age where many who claim Christ have a problem believing ALL means ALL.
We are now to be in vital, ongoing, Holy Spirit relationship.
He told us at the time of judgement there will be some who even did miracles in his name, yet "knew Him not", and He would cast them out on that basis.
Not going to argue.
Pretty much Ephesians on is where we are now.

That was all before the day of pentecost,
(Jer 4:31) - For I have heard thy groaning as the voice of a woman in travail, as of her that brings forth her first child; the voice of the daughter of Zion shall fail through weakness, and she shall lose the strength of her hands, saying, Woe is me! for my soul faints because of the slain

This, sister, is to me the "birth pang" in Luke 21 / Mat 24 / Mark 13, which is yet to be fulfilled.

(Jer 4:27) - Thus saith the Lord, The whole land shall be desolate; but I will not make a full end.
(Jer 4:28) - For these things let the earth mourn, and let the sky be dark above: for I have spoken, and I will not repent; I have purposed, and I will not turn back from it.

The word for "land" is the EARTH, so the whole Earth will be desolate. This has not occurred yet.

(Zec 2:11) - And many nations shall flee for refuge to the Lord in that day, and they shall be for a people to him, and they shall dwell in the midst of thee: and thou shalt know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to thee.

Many nations, in other words GENTILES. This, too, has not occurred yet.

(Zec 2:2) - And I said to him, Whither goest thou? And he said to me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth of it, and what is the length of it.
(Zec 2:6) - Ho, ho, flee from the land of the north, saith the Lord: for I will gather you from the four winds of heaven, saith the Lord,

Gather from the four winds? To my knowledge, the Jews who gathered to Jerusalem before Pentecost did not "flee" from a northern land. Has this thing really been fulfilled before? If you have any argument to these above, you are more than welcome to share it with me, brethren.

I want this solved, and I should probably address this now. (even if nobody reads it.)

Luke 24:44 - These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
Yes, The first coming of Christ was testified by the prophets. It was fulfilled. What of SECOND COMING? Is it part of the things written concerning him? By logic, I think the Old Testament should have testified of Jesus' second coming which is the Day of the Lord.

In other words, if it IS part of the Scripture, then to say OT is long done away with is probably false.

Brother Pumpkinbrea To help you please read Hebrews 8:6-13 After reading this I shall ask a question to you. If you moved from Japan to the United States, would you still have to abide by the old law in Japan or the new law written where you now live? Of course!!! You know!!

We,well those who believe anyway, were never under the old, since I was never a jew,for the law of Moses was written only for them, but now through the blood of our Lord Jesus we are now under the new Covenant!( Romans 10:4)

As Paul wrote us. AND!!!! under far better promises!! Reflect upon Deut28:1-14 these are the blessing back then if you followed it,then look at all the curses if you break just one!!! verses 15-45!!! Under the new, Rom 8:1 Now look at the biggest difference brother!! Please read 2 Kings 1:10-12) Now look at the big difference of the New!!! ( Luke 9:51-56!!!) Hope this helps you brother. Blessing
