Is This a Normal Pattern of Events?

Someone who is literally coming from the point of no prior knowledge, can only speak since I've been participating here, but is there an influx of New Idealism's, or is this a normal pattern for here? Just the past couple of weeks, it's been a variety breaking God/Sin down to Quantum Mechanics and Laws, one person called us BABIES and berated our response, Two are discussing the Garden Scene from Gnostic/Scientific evidence/viewpoints.

The one common trait they've all had, when proven wrong, it doesn't phase them. And the one about the Garden Scene, has a very slick way of intertwining Biblical verses with folklore.

If this happens to be a more than usual occurrence of these [false] Idealism's, does this indicate we are even closer to the [END] and the false Christ's are beginning to multiply?

False ideas have been around the whole time. It may seem that they are more prevalent now, simply because of the speed of communications. What was spread by telephone, mail, and radio in the last century, and word of mouth prior, is now communicated to (potentially) millions at the click of a mouse. God knows what's going on, and He is still sovereign. I suggest we take our cues from Him. See Philippians 4:6-7. :)

As for the recent threads on this forum, such nuttiness is neither new nor increasing. It's kind of par for the course. The site rules are there for a purpose, and as long as people are respectful and aren't promoting heresy, they are reasonably free to discuss what interests them. If you have a specific concern, check the rules and guidelines for reporting, and act accordingly.

Ebb and flow. They come and they go. How fast they go depends on how busy the Admins are and/or how much the Members feed them.

Christian Forums are the most attacked/trolled Forums on the Internet. It is just a fact.

Some of their 'stuff' is sooooooooo deeeeeeeeeep. Kind of like whale poopy at the ocean's bottom.:rolleyes: I'm smart enough to know fruity-tooty when I see it.

Yes. False prophets, false teachers, false apostles, and false brethren will abound before the Second Coming of Christ. And Christendom has entered into a serious state of apostasy at the same time. All of this will culminate in the revelation and reign of the Antichrist, as already prophesied in 2 Thessalonians 2.

The Lord has said "Prove all things. Hold fast that which is good". The Lord has also said that we are to reprove the works (and therefore the workers) of darkness. Christian evangelists, pastors, and teachers, Christian seminaries, Christian churches, Christian bookstores etc. have all been moving away from sound doctrine and the pure and full Gospel of Christ for many years. And this too was prophesied by Paul.

It does seem like it's Deep in thought and should be viewed as something logical. That's how you get caught debating it because there's something off and now you're playing inspector gadget finding it. And when you figure it all out, what seemed Deep with Reason, now appears like a lunatic's version who just escaped the padded walls ward.

I appreciate everyone's input. Like I mentioned already, it just seemed like past couple weeks [it] has crawled out from beneath darkness trying to shed its dim light.

Not pointing fingers at anyone specifically, but trolls do tend to hang out in darkness and only venture forth to torment others. The darkness in which they dwell is typically that of their mothers' basements. ;)
