Those who are to receive the Grace, Compassion, and Mercy [will] remain in the Abrahamic Covenant. Why? Because it is based upon God's Promise and nothing else.

Romans 8:3 NLT - "The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin's control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins."
Their covenant was based on what the nation agreed with God in Exodus 24.

The Covenant was based upon Abrahams obedience . . . not Israel, for they did not obey (except Caleb and Joshua, who were "wholehearted." Why these two? Because like Abraham, they had received the Circumcision of Christ. They were Purified.

While all of Israel agreed, very few were True Jews. However, what I wrote earlier still stands . . . the Promise was not fulfilled because of an agreement, for Israel did not keep it . . . but it is based upon the Promise of God.

I know that this isn't easy to understand . . . hang in there and keep trying.

You just need to refer to exodus 24 to understand my point

And I stated before Christ came

I fully understand Exo 24. As usual, you dance around what has been given you, thus nothing ever becomes resolved.
You are free to hold whatever doctrine you want to hold for yourself.

Just because someone disagrees with your doctrine does not mean they dance around it.

Anyway my original post was not directed to you but to ewq

Well, now you have when you read these:

Luk 10:25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
Luk 10:26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
Luk 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
Luk 10:28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
I don't think your interpretation of Luke is correct. I do not think you can love the Lord with all your heart, but withhold loving the Lord for giving us the gift of salvation through faith.

I really only have offered the scriptures rather than my interpretation. Before the cross Christ did say eternal life could be achieved by following the law. After the cross that is no longer the way to receive eternal life but it was when Christ spoke about it..

There is no need for any interpretation beyond a literal understanding of the words.

Jesus said what he meant and meant what he said there. He doesn't need any of our help to make his message more acceptable.

Hebrews 11 teach us that we were always saved by faith :) to quote scripture does not always make us right my friend.

The circle reasoning of these fellas is that there has to be a chop-up of "dispensations" and as a consequent result different gospels of such. Always putting up a divide between "Israel" and "the Church", even where such does not exist. This was not taught before Darby, who invented the whole thing.

I'm a True Jew, though I am German. How about you? Has your Heart been Circumcised by the Spirit? By Jesus Christ?

Romans 2:28-29 NLT - 28 For you are not a true Jew just because you were born of Jewish parents or because you have gone through the ceremony of circumcision. 29 No, a true Jew is one whose heart is right with God. And true circumcision is not merely obeying the letter of the law; rather, it is a change of heart produced by God's Spirit. And a person with a changed heart seeks praise from God, not from people.

A True Jew is a True Christian. A True Christian is a True Jew. Why else would there be no difference between male and female, Greek or Jew?

I don't recommend laughing at the Plan of God, lest He laughs at you when you say, "But Lord . . . I did all of these things in your Name!"

I did not mean to make fun of you or your heritage :) but the way I saw it with "true Jew" was funny in my head :)

The Jews are the tribes of Judah and Benjamin. If you are not one of those tribes you are Israel, even if you are a gentile (like me).

God bless :)

Hebrews 11 never stated that any of them were "saved", as in past tense.

The author even took care to state Hebrews 11:39 so we do not form a doctrine like what you are doing here.

So you think Christ was wrong when he said obeying the law would result in eternal life?
