Haven’t ever seen this website till yesterday. Normally I just chat online with people about sports but I enjoy reading conversations between Christians about our faith, so I’m glad I found this place.

Grew up Protestant and became Catholic when I was 30. So I feel like I understand where Christians agree and disagree pretty well. Look forward to getting the chance to talk to all of you 😎.

Fascinating path you have chosen, Brother Bama:):coffee: Enquiring minds will want to know. It seems that Christians get along fine as long as they emphasize their unity as Christians more than their denominational distinctives. I'm sure you will get thumped on the head sooner or later. Oyster has many lumps and bumps.:giggle: We usually come back together at the end of the day, though. We love you and welcome you to CC.

Welcome BamaPapist, all are welcome here, regardless of what state they are from! 😊

I was raised Baptist but God blessed me 53 years ago with the most beautiful Catholic girl on earth. Some of our friends and family had issues (one even told me I was "unevenly yoked"), but we have never once had an issue between us. We both maintain our faith and support each other in theirs. We have learned from worshiping in both of God's houses, that there are issues others try to force upon you. We sometimes have to learn to just smile. We love them anyway.
