but it's not your shop and no need to be graphically rude

I guess you do not understand the agenda homosexuals have against Christians or even non-Christians who understand what marriage actually is

I would also assume you have no understanding of the word 'precedent'

Precedent refers to a court decision that is considered as authority for deciding subsequent cases involving identical or similar facts, or similar legal issues. Precedent is incorporated into the doctrine of stare decisis and requires courts to apply the law in the same manner to cases with the same facts.

It is not Christ's love to condone or uphold homosexual activity and that includes the false notion that wives or husbands cannot exist in that abnormal coupling

I don't love them. they are a terrible influence over children and adults alike

Now God on the other hand? He sent His only Son to bear their sins, die in their place, shed His blood for those sins and they deliberately go to a CHRISTIAN baker desiring to either make him capitulate to their demands or put him out of business

they know full well about God. Read Romans 1

tell that to God then. He is the One that forbids homosexuality

If it were up to me? I would not care what they do. I really would not. I would consider the whole mess their problem and that includes all the side effects of their ungay practices. Guess you are ignorant of what goes on :cautious:

So again, tell it to God. I can see you are very gifted in your ability to understand what is actually going on

it is this type of response that indicates the dumbing down of society as a whole and sadly Christianity in particular

keep up the good work

you are not sure. you are not sure at all and do not seem to take seriously what the Bible says about the practice of homosexuality

18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.

24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

at least you are confirming your actual understanding, faulty, as to the Christian viewpoint and the reason the baker refused to participate in the sin of the homosexual who desired to destroy his business

obviously, there is either a lack of preachng about sin in some churches, or some people close their ears and do not crack their Bibles or belief in a god other than the actual God we learn about in the Bible is eschewed for the god who loves too much to punish anyone

doesn't matter. God reveals Himself in many ways and that would include this forum where some choose to gloss over sin or believe that Christians are not loving and should allow sinners to rule over them

the homosexual who wanted to destroy the baker's business can never say he did not hear about God or be made aware his sinful life style was not acceptable to God

Christians do not condemn other sinners before God. God Himself condemns the sin and the sinner. He is longsuffering and not willing that anyone should perish...but, some prefer their sin, or poo poo the idea of God and desire a society in which every sin is glorifed and the righteous are punished because of their understanding of the holiness of God

Thank you for your rebuke. At least I understand why David allowed Shimei to do what he had done to himself, David.

If it were my shop, I'd have made the cake. Why? Because as a Christian, I need to interact with those who are "sick" . . . not those who are fine and good. I'm sure that the cake wasn't meant to have genitals draped all over it, but probably more like a normal cake . . . and if this is the cake, this was the Christian man's opportunity to show the Love to Christ. But . . . that's not what happened.

We're really blowing it in this world, Christians!
Read this article for a description of one of the cake requests. You gotta understand sodomites are anti-Christian.

Dude...you do not have understanding and you have the scripture to refer to so no excuse.

Rebuke? hardly. the Bible itself rebukes you and the false love you seem to prefer.

no excuse for anyone thinking we should love these people into the kingdom. it isn't love to go along with filth and degrading the creation God made in HIS IMAGE

they desire to destroy God's image with satanic lust and filth and will pay for it one day with their very souls

I have never mocked gays or argued with them and I won't condone their practices either.

Reading the article (link provided above post 28) provides proof of ongoing harassment and a desire to harm someone.

There are bakeries that would be happy to create any sort of cake a person wants, so going to a baker that a person knows will not bake their 'speciality' cake, is more than indicative of an agenda.

anyone knows that, so all the bad baker showing no Christian love nonsense...is nonsense

What are you doing? Your attitude doesn't feel like the Spirit of Christ. Your approach is foreign to me.

Tell you what, what your heart is right and you can approach me with kindness and gentleness . . . then we'll chat.

you are simply choosing to ignore scripture and the fact these homosexuals desire to harm the baker by closing his business or trying to make him capitulate to their agenda, when there are literally thousands of bakers from which they could choose who would have no problem to bake their cake

I don't regulate myself by people like you, who appear to think they know better than God and try to make people feel guilty with false judgment

You are in the wrong here and really, if you do not go by God's word as the final guide, you are deceived and no amount of talking about it will change what you say

it is your decision on how you conduct yourself just as it is mine.

No, I really don't. I've made my position very clear and it isn't going to change.
neither does what scripture says about homsexuality

this sin is destroying these people and frankly, plays a large part in the destruction of society when society excuses it and actually promotes it, as is ongoing in this nation today

refusing to participate in that sin, as the baker did, is not outside the love of God, but going along with it is promoting it

apparently, you just cannot see that however. done with posting to you about it. :giggle:

I haven't a clue as to what you're rambling on about. In fact, I worry for you.

I can't get anywhere with you, and your attitude resembles nothing of Christ, and since you won't calm down, to the Ignore list you shall go.

Good luck to you.

I was relieved when I heard that theSupreme Court, which I had almost come to despise, made the correct decision in the baker case..

A baker named Phillips in CO had to deal with "gay people" demanding that he bake them a cake for their same sex wedding and he refused bc of his Christians beliefs on gay marriage. (I put "gay" in quotes attimes bc I don't believe in being gay, don't believe anyone is born gay.. its nonsense)

So the Supreme Ct voted in favor of religious freedom... whew... They've made a lot of bad decisions b4 butthis was not one of them.

So then a transgendered person thought he (she?) would do the samething to the same guy! Unbelievable.

Phillips had lost 40% of his business over thefirst lawsuit, fighting some (city?) Commission that ordered him not to make certain kinds of cakes anymore... So much for "it's a free country"...

anyway, the transgendered person at some point dropped the suit :)

I just thought I would share this w/ others who may not know about it..

sigh

[nostalgic sigh for the good old days when hardly anyone claimed to be "gay"]
Amen! Thank God we still have some justice in our country today!

Man, of you’d do that, you send the message that what they’re doing is ok. Homosexuality is a grave sin. I agree, they need salvation desperately. But that’s not a reason to bake them a cake. Rather they need to hear the Word and be convicted of their sins.
