Not exactly a true "expansion joint."
Well, no - of course not. But, "real" expansion joints were used every few sections - something like 3/8" gaps - with a medium-density fibrous filler of some sort.

I have seen them with and without.

If its sinful then I feel awkward playing it. I need to feel the song is truth. I'm stubborn
That's such a musician answer...
I live in Nashville TN... AKA "Music City".
We have every genre of music here... recording studios, music video editing, and promotion houses and legal teams for contracts like you wouldn't believe.
Of course we have an overflow of musicians too...singers and songwriters all over the place.

Nowadays the musicians are trying to hide their identity...they became too much of a cliche.

I'm not saying anything bad about musicians...quite the contrary. They have music in their hearts that create a unique rhythm that this world sorely needs.
I happen to have the highest regard for artisans... truly skilled artisans...masters at their craft...of all crafts including music. But craftsman vs tinkers are hard to come by in this digital age.

That was very well put. I'm not in the top levels of musicianship but do play in a band. I would say most of the songs we play are not too bad lyrical wise, they tell human stories and as with all music (none worship) from a secular viewpoint. But most of the more modern pop music tends to have bland mind numbing lyrics, with no real though other than a catchy hook.

I have a times wondered should I actually be playing in a ''secular band'' , but then I'm at the moment the only christian who is in the midst of pubs and clubs. I have big white fish sticker on my black guitar and many times I have been asked about it. So opportunity's have arisen to share the gospel right in the midst of a pub, and without being thrown out lol.

There's a back story to the sticker. When I was a teen probably about 16-17 me and my band friends would go to the pubs to watch other bands and there was this one band we liked, well everyone like lol. The bass player stood out as different to me, during the breaks he would drinks pints/vodka etc and didn't mingle... but right on his Bass guitar was a black fish sticker. I knew what it was as at that time my brother was a christian (I wasn't, I was almost 30 before coming to Christ). All through the years that one guy kept coming back into my mind.. it was how he seemed different and the fish sticker. Along with I'm sure my brothers prays eventually led to me coming to Christ.

So I suppose I get paid well for something I see as a hobby and a chance to witness right in the midst of pubs/clubs... believe me some of the places are quite rough lol.

Anyhow that went way of the topic lol..

Thank you for making my day sometimes you surprise me in many ways I know that it is Jesus wanting me to stop hating the way he created me and you bring those reminders that I’m beautifully wonderfully designed by him. Thank you.

This thread is "Speak Your Mind".
Ya did just fine.
We were talking about Peter's rooster that crowed today and how we all have our own personal rooster. (Mine tasted great with dumplings and gravy)

But that becoming bold in a hostile environment isn't exactly easy...but that's what Peter did...and he did exactly what Jesus said to do... tell them how much God had done for him. And when we share such a personal message as that...it's powerful. Living it out for long periods of time when even thugs know what we are...then comes those special stories that few can truly appreciate.

Just saying...

I love Sunday afternoons...where we have a meal as full as the one we have for Thanksgiving.
Then I get the infamous Sunday Afternoon nap...where the notes from the sermon are printed on the inside of my eyelids....

Then there's the extremely light supper and the wonderful snacks for real supper....then comes the foot dragging to go to bed because when I wake up it will be Monday morning.

I was watching a program on youtube earlier.. And one of the suggested videos was paternity court.. Phew I got my eys opened!

From there it led to couples court, it was even worse. I didnt realize how much the internet is used for cheating 😒.

Men chatting to women via chat and email and women doing the same without their spouses knowing.. Unreal. But apparently thats not cheating lol. Anyhow.. I had an eye opener.

And the clinher.. We where on a break... Eh.. What does that mean.?

This is so funny lol. But you may want to turn your speakers down before playing. There's a very loud beep in the beginning
