Here is a scenario. Our Father knows the majority of mankind will not seek Him, nor seek to please Him.

Knowing this, and being our Creator, He knows well just what mankind will do without consulting Him and juisst how mankind will do all

Those who choose Good and reject evil will be drawn to Him regardless of what, and although He refines us all in the furnace of affliction, it is a very short trial and the glory to come is worth more than a thousand trials.

Now, this is not by some revelation, nor by insight, just a scenario.

If my pea brain can come up with this, our Father's motivations have to be perfect and wondrous.

HISTORY IS PLAYED OUT BECAUSE THE BELIEVER IN CHRIST HAS A JUST GOD WHO THE REST OF CREATION IS WATCHING TO SEE THE REVELATION OF HIS GOOD WORK IN MAN MANIFEST .GOD IS JUST IN REDEEMING MAN FROM THE DEAD. THE ACCUSSER THE DEVIL HAS ACCUSED MAN "NOT GOOD". ON THE DAY OF THE LORD . GOD WILL JUDGE ACCORDING TO RIGHTEOUSNESS NOT SIN. JESUS HAS JUDGED SIN.

This might seen like too obvious of an answer, but simply put, God is working things out for His glory because He finds pleasure in it.

Sure, mankind may have derailed themselves, but I think God fixed it because He enjoyed it and found pleasure in offering a way to salvation and reconciliation.

Colossians 1:16
16For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Revelation 4:11
11Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Remember this about History. History is not based always upon fact,it rather is the view of the writer. History is recorded by man. LOL I flunked history twice because I debated and had to many questions. LOL You can believe anything you choose to,but ones belief does not always make it fact. I choose to believe the Word of God as fact, but that is my choice, many would disagree as you well know. To me the bible is history.

if you wnat to know the future look at teh past

I'm curious to see how many have the same answer as me.
Love this.. can get really deep huh. Its written "Let them bring forth and show us what will happen; Let them show the former things, what they were, That we may consider them, And know the latter end of them; Or declare to us things to come. Show the things that are to come hereafter, That we may know that you are gods; Yes, do good or do evil, That we may be dismayed and see it together.

God didn’t create the Earth to find out what would happen. He created it because He wanted a planet teeming with life. Even if He knew His staff (humans) would screw it up, He already had a plan in place. It’s the end result He wants, not the beginning.

Let’s say you want a cake. You know the past, you had it before. It’s delicious! You know the present, you must gather the ingredients. You know the future, when you add them together, the flour giving structure, the sugar giving sweetness, the oil shortening the gluten strands to make it delicate, the eggs and soda to make it moist and fluffy and bake it then you get the result. Even though you know the past present and future you must still wait it out until the toothpick comes out clean, the cake cools so you can add the icing and finally enjoy it.

Because history has to be played out so that the number of those who will be saved is reached. I believe God has a number of redeemed in mind..

Revelation 6:
6: "And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: {10} And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?"
11 "And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled."

Would that all meditate on these passages.

God chose not to "know the future" when He gave man free will. They are free @ any time to... well, to do just whatever they choose to do.

We are "gods" in a sense bc of this free will. God did not want automatons who serve him mindlessly. he wanted us to choose Him every step of the w ay

which is not as easy as it may sound...

I'm thinking it is something about the knowledge of good and evil, and evil being 'worked out' of the mechanism (I guess is the word?) of God's creation. To add to Hungry's analogy of a cake (which seems fitting for the nickname;), except it's a rum cake where you want that certain flavor but the alcohol needs to be cooked out.

What first comes to my mind is "There is nothing new under the sun."

What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.

um

is this a philosophical question like all the worlds a stage, and mean and women are the players kind of thing. I guess its so we can all play a part in God's story?

Why do humans play The Sims or Second Life?

Also, it's for our understanding ( I think partially, so we firsthand know Satan's plan/rebellion is SO UNRIGHTEOUS (yields chaos) it is unfathomable to do anything than what God wants ) and we can have a deeper love for God. Also having a construct [confines of life, everyone playing by the same rules with the same access to God in faith] allows for righteousness judgment and rank and position in eternity and there won't be jealousy or envy. It will be righteous for the deeds done, according to their faith
