There are quite a few peeps here from the UK including Scotland so you should feel right at home. There might be a few that have experience with the challenges of autism too. Glad to have you onboard with us. Welcome to CC.

Hi, I am down in the south and happy to chat / listen. Can't say I have any knowledge. But I can certainly understand and what it feels to be a parent who simply wants the best for their child

Hi Jason,

I'm now to CC too.
I am not a father (yet?) but I do have some experience with the autistic spectrum.
I am also from the UK (East), and would be happy to chat.

Best wishes :)

Jason - Hi and welcome to CC! I don't have much experience with autism, but my wife has 10-15 years experience working with them in the local school system. From what I've seen, I feel that autistic children have intelligence that we just don't know understand completely. They're very smart. My wife says routine and patience are the key.

Not from the UK, but we did live near London for 3 years.

Hi Jason.
Welcome to CC.
Looks like you haven't been back on since posting this, but on the chance that you do pop back in I'll go ahead and post this reply.
Sorry, I'm not in Scotland. Midwest, USA here. BUT, I am a Mama Bear of 3, with 2 being spectrum kids, so if you come back on and are looking for support or someone to talk ASD stuff with, I'm here.
