Everything that God created was good. It was created for a purpose. The purpose of each creation pleased God.
Rebellion causes sin. Satan was the first to rebel then he taught others to do so.
Pride causes rebellion. Pride causes jealousy which turns into envy ,anger , causing to covet and so on.
The rebellion of satan shows us that the beings , angelical and mortal were created with free will.
God did not create sin but created the consequences of it....death.

That is an interesting take God created the consequences for sin. I would say "SIN" produces its own payment because sin has law unto its self which is death and separation from a Holy God.

The Bible is clear God tempts no man nor is HE tempted. God is righteous which speaks to HIS judgment of each of us.

There will be no one saying to God in my best peewee Hermon voice,

"All these things you created God " so why am I going to hell"?

it a false narrative producing a question like that for the sole purpose of self-righteousness.

FYI It will not work.

Was rebellion good? And therefore sin good? And therefore pride good?

All these things God created
Rebellion and Sin is committed, not created. There is a difference.

We are required to rebel against some things, including pride which is a sin. That is because they are bad. Easy-peasie, yes?

God made us have free will?
God made it possible to choose His free gift of salvation rather than to live in bondage to sin and then burn in hell. It was men who messed things up in the Garden, not God.

Adam and Eve had free will. Eve chose to defy God and later Adam did also.

What scripture says that?
None. It is from a false teaching called "Calvinism". Satan is using it to deceive many here on CC. It says the men cannot choose Jesus or reject Him. It teaches that men are like robots.

Perhaps she does and has never met those who teach otherwise.
Without free will there would be no sin in the world. Eve wouldnt have eaten the fruit. She chose to do so, after being tempted, but chose to do so. Adam also chose. I chose to accept Christ. The guy next door didnt.

Yes, Jesus died on the Cross so that all of us could have a "free-will" (choice) to yield or lives to Him. We have the free will to accept Jesus and His way to Heaven, or reject His gift of a fresh start (and the clean slate that He wants to give to every one of us.) Jesus does not want any of us to go to Hell, but many will go there because of their choice to reject Salvation.

2 Peter
3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

We must agree saint wherever their is law there is order....hence God created the consequences.
Just as in creation he created order out of chaos.
Behold I set before you blessings and cursings.

Eve wouldn't have been capable to defy God if he hadn't engendered with the ability...

As humans we there are many things we cannot do. Why would be be 'free' to 'sin' when we're not 'free' to see ultraviolet light?

Correct. With the choice to accept comes the choice to reject. If it were otherwise, we would have been "robots". You could try to become a robot by having Lobotomy. (That doesn't sound like it would be much fun.:unsure:)

Why do you think that God created sin? Where does the Bible say that?

James 1:13 - When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;

If God cannot be tempted, nor does He tempt anyone, it makes no sense to think He created sin.

Or why can't we breath underwater like fish? Hmmmm:unsure:, I don't really know. You could ask God to give you a set of golden gills to match your fancy necklace, perhaps?:):coffee:

God created EVERYTHING. Any and all transgressions against Him and all you consider evil God himself created.
