Eve wouldn't have been capable to defy God if he hadn't engendered with the ability...

Eve either had free will or God wanted her to disobey. Which is more likely?

It's Ok to just rest in Him with the knowledge that He knows best and He loves you. If you want gills and ultraviolet eyes, just tell Him so. Some of us are completely content to let Him do what He deems best at this present time and place in our lives.

John
14:25 These things have I spoken unto you, being [yet] present with you.
14:26 But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

God created EVERYTHING. Any and all transgressions against Him and all you consider evil God himself created.
I asked where the Bible says this. But you didn't provide any verses.

If you don't have any, just say so. If you do have some, then please share.

If you think God created evil, then God is evil. Is that your position?

God made us have free will?
yes mankind is created for free will

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion....

And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:27-28, 31‬ ‭

mans purpose is right there and our place is here in Gods presence With freedom to choose being informed of the consequence and needing only to believe Gods word to love with him in paradise and freedom

“And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭2:15-17‬ ‭

With mans free will comes true freedom through Gods knowledge in this case it was the knowledge that the fruit was deadly . Gods will put them in Eden but here’s where sin came from it was in Satan and then Satan corrupted and infiltrated thier free will

you have this beforehand , before the knowledge of good and evil

“And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭2:25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

then the deception

“And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

( and effect )

And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭3:4-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Thier eyes were opened to sin , to the knowledge of good opposing evil within. The law of sin in us that now needs to be fixed

This law of sin came because of the knowledge of good and evil and its in every sinner but it’s not put there by God remember he forbid the knowledge of good and evil they transgressed and this is the result

“I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭7:21, 23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Satan caused this law in man man caused it when we transgressed what God said and followed satans word instead our will at that point was corrupt , by the time of the gospel man had become enslaved to satans will ( sin)

the gospel is about restoring our original knowledge that makes us Gods children creates us in his image and gives us life as in the beginning conesni to our presence as in the beginning dwells in us and with us like in the beginning all we have to do is believe Jesus and learn what he’s saying we should view that like this because it’s true

“All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11:27-30‬ ‭

It doesn’t matter what we have been or done in Christ everyday is a day to turn to him and just begin to hear what God has to say about salvstion himself he’s able to save us if we do that , he says it

I understand your point sister, there is a better Explanation.First understand that God is a good God , he's known for that. thats his image and ALL of creation confirms to that which even you witness everyday around you . he cant produce "not good". just as a coconut trees give coconut and orange trees give oranges. He's presence produces goodness effortlessly in who he desires .
Here is my view, God didn't leave a defect in man so he would have man for his amusement ,not a puppet master ,a father.
A short backup story the believer needs to know there was a WAR in Heaven, the war of ages between Good and Evil, scriptures back that if you look it up this was regarding ordinance (Godhead). Satan fell from heaven defeated.
In Genesis, Man created in God's Rest(Jesus) time, in God's image,likeness....gifted! which happens to be exactly what satan desired and fought for and failed in Heaven . satan came for man because of the "word" which abide in him, spoken by God.
now to This situation with sin IN man,After Adam fell he became corrupt having sin nature(will corruption be joined with God? and God unjust in the eyes of all creation?be a respecter of persons?God forbid.), God killed a innocent Lamb ,no blemish instead(seems unjust right?) . God gave his son . if the believer can wrap his or her head around those truths from the scriptures, you will do fine . pray to God for understanding.God bless

God created the universe.

See Genesis. That is my understanding. Or do you believe God was created by Sophia, for example?

Without free will there would be no sin in the world. Eve wouldnt have eaten the fruit. She chose to do so, after being tempted, but chose to do so. Adam also chose. I chose to accept Christ. The guy next door didnt.
I don’t disagree with that so how do I not understand free will? God gave us free will because He wants us to choose to have a relationship with him. Yes he could have made us just live as perfect beings who did right all the time but then that wouldn’t be genuine love, that’d just make us robots. I don’t see where what I said disagrees with what you said. Also, the other girl was saying basically the opposite of that, so I asked what scripture demonstrates what she’s saying?

Free will means God gave you the option to choose. No one said that free will means you can do what you want and God won’t care, which it sounds like that’s how you’re defining it.

We are robots. Don't believe me? Try seeing ultraviolet light. It is not within our programming to see it.

Will: "the faculty by which a person decides on and initiates action."

Use your free (without limit) will to see ultraviolet light.

Where in the Bible does it coincide with what you’re saying? You make choices every day, either at your own benefit or detriment...was it not a choice for you to have this discussion? Do you believe you’re not in control of your actions at all?

Yes humans are limited...like you’re talking about the will to fly or something? I mean duh we don’t have the option to do that, you’re defining free will be something else, as I said. We’re talking about how we think and what we believe and what we do about it as free will.

No, I believe I have some control over my actions.

It feels like it was my decision, however I could be wrong. God could have brought me here. Or does God not intervene in our lives at all?

Many things we do daily are against our will. I do not will myself to smell, for example, yet I do. I do not have control over whether I find a smell pleasant (the smells of an Italian restaurant) or unpleasant (the smell of the contents of a rubbish bin/garbage can). That is just one example. Most of our thoughts and actions are completely involuntary.
