since the seal of the spirit is until the day of redemption, it would be importable for a demon to posses a child of God

however, like someone said earlier, they can oppress a believer.

Ok how does a person become free of a demon then ?

are you also saying that if a person is possessed by a demon they havent got the spirit.
This is my dilema because youll all agree a born again christian will still sin.
Sin is sin and so is getting drunk and taking drugs. but funny enough drugs and drink cause just as much damage to the mind and makes it become unsound just as much as devoloping a natural mental health disorder, that can come from denomic oppression.
Most people dont know there present, thats why they go mad. i suspect that born again christians would fail to regognise denomic oppression to as and when it happens.
i know i have befor today. and i know im born again.

so how come the commandment to christians to keep your house in order or keep yourself clean in the body is written or dont drink to much
i know i dont have to tell you this, but ill say it anyway. its so you dont get reposessed.

me personally i dont feal you lose the spirit or go to hell if you become reposessed after you have become a christian. but your statement suggests we do.

What would you say the number of people is who are possessed befor they become born again. theres evidence from the bible and history that its really verry high.

what ive found is since i became born again and learnt how to defeat demons i have been attacked more than ever.

Sin is not from demon possession. If people claim it is. they are excusing their sin.

Can God and Satan possess the same body? If you think they can, can you explain how please?

Ive seen this responce befor. on one hand people who use this argument befor. on one hand people will say christian will still sin but on the other hand they say none chrsitian will blame the devil for there sin.
in my book sin is sin however you come to do it.

anyway the devil is very deceptive. theres hundreds of ways to sin and fall from grace. one of them is presumptous sinning falsley acusing etc. the other thing to note here is a demon loves a religous argument.which can come from denomic oppresion and or possession.

but I will let you know You have some misunderstanding of OSAS as I am not a person of that prospective fully, yet I am not one who believes in the complete sufficiency or salvation one can walk away. We are not possessed by the Holy Spirit He is welcomed into the believer by grace through faith unto salvation, not of works.
Jesus doesn't play games nor calls darkness to be where Jesus is they do not share locations. The person who has been delivered is set free to make a choice to accept Christ or reject him. If one who is possessed rejects Christ yet they can and most often return because 1. you rejected christ 2. your now becoming like one whose mind has been seared and the Holy Spirit call to you becomes deafening and you are turned over to a reprobate.
Yet does that mean they can't be saved? no. as long as one is still alive there is HOPE! How so?
Because of those who are in prayer for them. Those types are the 1 of the 99 we are never to give up on them until they are dead. Then we leave them unto the Lord.
Demons are very deceptive and very religious and knowledgeable of the history of people and time and the word of God.
in the 90's many deliverance and generational curse, teaching came to the forefront again with buffoons like Bob Larson and many others. These false demonologists go around having little forms of deliverance services to fleece the flock and most of the time they bring a person who believes they are demon-possessed yet after being delivered 1000 times already they have come back.
the demon's name is billybelsibud, she wants to be free but this demon is just too strong for ole Bob Larson. Well, the devil is a liar.
WHO the SON has set free is FREE absolutely. A person who has surrendered to the Lord Jesus Christ DON"T have a demon in them.
does that mean you will not be tempted? No, but with every temptation, GOD provides a way to escape.

listen if you blame someone else for a sin that a sin, just as much when you sin its a sin.
if you blame you sinned because you got drunk, thats a sin.
blaming somebody or something else for a sin is just as much as a sin as when a born again christian commits a sin. You cant compare sins this way. and i can tell you that denomic oppresion can do this to you. its a pride thing. So if i say to you why did you sin. you might say because we all fall short. well guess what, that still excusing still and passing the blame else where.

I have read through many of your long post to lol. I can see your very strong in your faith and you also have a zest and a good caring heart for those who become possessed.

That said you where right that a person who is saved can walk away from christ as it is there choice. how ever what made him walk away in the first place is something worth reflecting on here. like you said he could have just rejected christ. and he has only himself to blame but there could have been some other reason like a mind becoming unsound from denomic oppression. As you know many people wrongly acuse others. and you should know they where decieved into doing so by demons.
You should aslo know that is something satan is to blame for. and you should also know it can take a lot of growing in faith to disern this for your self.

I have found your posts in it encouraging and insightful and full of compassion and understanding, and they will be food for thought for me, as will many of the other posts here.
You mentioned you learnt how to defeat demons. Being of sober mind seems key. I would welcome any other tips/advice you can share.

Its a clear instruction to all christians that can not be ignored. the enemy can consume us. all christians who have took part in this thread answer all theese questions for me please. honestly just yes or no just put q1 =yes or q2 = no etc. please just give a bit of your time.

Now i know that some of you wouldnt get drunk but please just answer on the bases if you did. but also bare in mind you could ond day get drugged up by someone or develop an unsound mind which is the same as unsober because you cant stay alert in either picture. The passage tells us to defeat satan we must be sober and alert.

1 what happens if we dont stay of sober mind (get drunk or stoned or plastered, can a christian be possessed by the enemy based on the warning from peter above . my answer is yes whats yours

2 the passage above mentions nothing of aldulf hitler it refers to a spiritual enemy devouring you. so how can a spiritual enemy devour you.
my answer is the enemy can consume you whats yours.

3 based on the warning above what would happen if you didnt stay strong in your faith
could the enemy possess you. my answer is yes what is yours.

4 the warning above is also for strong christians if you did not stay strong in your faith

One possible meaning of the Holy Spirit not dwelling in an unclean place is that the Holy Spirit does not dwell in an unbeliever (Romans 6:8). But, once a person is a true believer, he or she will be permanently indwelt with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption when they get to Heaven.
But just a note here in our bible it doesnt actually say the holy spirit will not dwell in an unclean place. in fact the only bible that does say this is the mormon bible

“Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:”

Ok this clearly says the holy spirit will dwell in the true believer

Question can you be a true believer if your not of sober mind or sound mind.

Further question if for some reason you sinned and got extremly drunk for one night and became possessed would you lose your salvation. my answer is no what is yours.

Further question if you where a christian and got drunk everyday for the rest of your life being of unsound mind would you be rejecting Jesus and could you stay possesed for the rest of your life. my answer is yes what is yours.

In this instance could you lose your salvation. my answer is thats upto Jesus. whats yours.

This is like a lion devouring or consuming a pray.

This is totally different than a lion entering his pray and taking control of his body.

Devour on a spiritual bases, to murder a persons mind. to make a person feal hopeless. to have a person in despair. to turn hope into pity. to turn love into hate. To turn courage into worry. to turn honor into dishonor. to turn kindness into wickedness.
