Hello Oyster.

Not many, unfortunately. Finland is a pretty secular country, much like the rest of Scandinavia. The Nordic region is probably one of the least religious in the world.

Aarghh p-

I cant stand those Chinese cartoons. I always hated them.

This one is great though. Thank you.
I believe they are actually Japanese, manga and/or anime ;) My daughter was really into them, and so when she was much younger we watched quite a few different series and movies over the years. It did take me a little while to get used to the art form, especially the huge eyes, but some of the stories themselves were quite excellent, with complex and compelling characters and great story lines. My daughter was so taken with manga and anime that she taught herself Japanese as a result: all three alphabets, and was able to understand the spoken language, and speak it as well, and she eventually studied it formerly post-secondary, where she aced it, but dropped i after the first year, because she wanted to devote any studies to a future career, and she never knew what she might do with Japanese as a second language...

I am glad you like the Scripture panel :) That is one of my faves as well :D

Hello Oyster.

(There are) Not many (Christians), unfortunately. Finland is a pretty secular country, much like the rest of Scandinavia. The Nordic region is probably one of the least religious in the world.
For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.

If there are not many Christians in Oulu then you are very needed there.

I stayed about a month in Helsinki in 1994. It was winter and the sun would rise after 9 a.m. and set a few minutes after 3 p.m. Since Oulu is farther North it is obvious that days there, in winter, are even shorter.

Finnish people were very nice to us. Folks sitting next to us in restaurants would ask: "Where are you guys from?" The same happened with people who were celebrating new year on the streets.
