hi all, so finally dad got the results yesterday. He does have cancer. They are sending him for other tests to see if it has spread, and then he starts treatment, depending on the extent of the cancer and if it has spread, that will be discussed at the time of the next test. He doesn't know the lord, which is my primary concern, but I know all things are possible with God, and it may lead somehow to his salvation... though his other near death situations have not so far. :(

I understand the emotional roller coaster your dad may be on. I too am battling prostate cancer.

I'll be praying for Alan's salvation and health situation. God can use this sort of thing to get his attention.

Had a further update today with the results of Dad's bone scan.

The good news is that the cancer appears not to have spread beyond the prostrate, so there may be no need for chemotherapy.

The bad news is it is both aggressive and advanced. Dad will start radiotherapy very soon after a minor unrelated operation he needs. The hospital is trying to push everything forward as they want him to start the radiotherapy asap.

Dad doesn't want to know what stage it is at, and just focusing on treatment at the moment.

So thankful for all your prayers, I won't keep pestering you all every time I hear something, but I just updated for those who might like to know as this is the main diagnosis info.

God bless you all x

Hi thanks for the update and yes pls keep us informed about how things are....we do care about him and this situation..💕
It's good to know that the cancer hasn't spread to anywhere else as this is always the main concern. We give God thanks.🙏🏻👏🏻👏

Sorry to hear that it is aggressive and is advanced though..😳😳😳😳😳....just knowing this can trigger a anxiety...We will pray that the treatment makes a miraculous BIG impact on the cancer and that God uses this to prove to you father that he IS REAl this leading to his salvation...❤
A friend of mine had cancer a few years ago in the glands under her arm and apparently it was stage 4..however when they did the scan it hadn't spread to anywhere else which it is what it's supposed to do when its stage 4..God's miraculous intervention..
..my friend is still alive and still seeking to live God the lord..
ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE LORD
