Revelation 13 contains a Bible prophecy that will be fultilled. It will affect you and me and every other person on earth. LORD Jesus told us to proclaim the gospel to the end of the earth. Telling people about the mark of the beast should be a priority and yet, the churches (not all) are quiet about this. I have spoken to many people that say they are Christians, but have never heard of the mark of the beast. Why is it that the books of Daniel and Revelation are not being read more in the churches?

Lack of boldness my friend. In these days of political correctness one must choose between the truth and the lie.
The church seems to be sleeping at the moment hopefully not to a rude awaking.
Much is going on right now as we are in the times of sorrow....very exciting time right now at least for some☺☺

I would surmise that the books of Daniel and Revelation are not read because of the difficulty in understanding what has been written.

Maybe it's time to just read it and see what happens:

Revelation 1:3
3Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
