The Greek word for repent is μετάνοια, said metanoia. The closest literal English meaning of the word is to have a change of mind, but might be better said, “to think differently afterwards” or “changing your mind after being with,” according to the HELPS word study and Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance.

To repent means to be convinced of another way, to change your mind or convictions. And in response to be convinced in your mind and heart, changing your actions. Repentance means turning from going your own way to going God’s way.

Why the verse say murder not inherit?

The verse is referring to sinners who are unrepentant, which believers are not.
You sin every day because you are a sinner. If you are born again, you have already repented. If and when you sin, there is a God who covers you.

Seem to me unbeliever not inherit even he is not murder the verse doesn’t say only for nonbeliever

So if one agrees murder is a sin and yet falls in that area. How can they repent. They already agree it is sin. You can’t repent again

Yeah, and a true story of repentance in the scripture is the prodigal son.

He was a son, but left his father and went on his own way. He wound up in the hog pen starving.

What did he have to do? He had to change his mind and turn and go back home. This is true repentance a change of the will followed by appropriate action.

The axe is laid to the root of the trees... repent and bring forth fruit meet for repentance.

There is no true repentance without a change of life as a result.

The Greek word for repentance means to change your mind and the Hebrew word means to turn or turn back.

True repentance means changing our will and submitting to the will of God and turning to Him.

I haven't changed the Word of God. It seems to me you are actually trying to learn about it. Take the whole council of God. Don't pick and choose and then apply your own feelings to it.

This is a corruption of translation. The phrase He used translates into "ma'am" or "mom". The Messiah - who's supposed to be sinless during His ministry - wouldn't go and dishonor His mother.

He wasn't dishonoring her. He was addressing her as she is/was. She is not the "mother of God". She is a woman who needs a savior, just like the rest of the human race.

Your theology teaches you that if Jesus says....>"who is my mother, brother, sister... but those who have believed"....then this is Jesus "sinning"., which is why you see the words of Jesus on the Cross, as sin, when He does not elevate Mary to the queen of heaven Throne position.

I'm sharing with you a corruption of translation. He didn't call her woman. You're adding to the text this "mother of God" title to her to argue against. He called her the Hebrew equivalent of "ma". She was in charge of the wedding and they ran out of wine. She came to him for help. He didn't say "woman what has this to do with me?" He was saying, "but ma why is it our problem? my time hasn't come yet."

1) Greek Copies lack the Hebrew culture:
Some elements scribes simply didn't have a Greek word what they were describing and did the best they could with words that were close equivalents. And in other areas it's clear they hadn't a clue about the culture from which the accounts were written and so completely miss figures of speech.

2) Corrupted when Codified by RCC:
Portions were added to accounts to promote religious doctrine, which are still there in modern bibles today.

3) Text Added to English Translation:
The scribes of the original KJV added words and phrases in their attempt to "help" interpretation, but there was push-back for adding to the text, so they republished their translation italicizing all word and phrases that weren't part of the original text (this is why I prefer the original KJV when sharing English because at least I can see those corruptions).

4) Later English Versions Morphed Text:
Unfortunately, later English versions absorbed the once italicized word and phrases and in an attempt to modernize the text completely changing the originally intended meaning of passages.
