"Obedience unto the gospel" is an event (justification) (1 Pet 5:17).
"Obedience unto Jesus Christ" is a process (sanctification) (1 Pet 1:2).

Yes, Obedience in the context of Salvation is a single act of Obedience (I.e. Believing the Gospel of the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ).

And then after we are saved, walking in Obedience to Christ and His word, are a process which is for a life time.

What we do should be as a result of who we are. If teachers and preachers focused on the latter, we might have a more mature and fruitful church. Paul lays it out in Ephesians. We get a glorious exposition of who we are in Christ and what He has secured for us. Then Paul goes into how that should impact our lives. Too often, the cart is the wrong side of the horse. If we behave, we are spiritual. Never. We are spirtual therefore we behave! And that is a process. I was borderline alcoholic when I got saved. I was psychologically addicted. it took me two years to get free entirely. That I got free at all is entirely by God's grace. All I had to do was decide that I wanted to be free. God took care of the problem.
Thank you for sharing your testimony also brother. Yes, indeed, a lot of times, we sadly put the cart before the horse.

And yes Gideon, as you pointed out, Paul always laid out to the Believers the truth about their New identity in Christ. He revealed to them their Standing (Position in Christ). And then he exhorted them to live In accordance to their new identity in Christ. In other words, since they already were Saints (In their Position). He therefore exhorted them to live as Saints (In their Walk and Practice).

Plus, it should be noted, that All Christians though have willfully sinned after their salvation.
Agree. Any Christian who denies it is not being honest.

Well first off, when Paul is speaking of the Unrighteous, he is referring to the lost sinners, who are still dead in Adam. All Lost sinners are named after their sin. And the reason that they are identified with their Sin is because they are dead IN their sins and trespasses. Having said that, a born again Christian is also capable of committing any one of those sins mentioned and listed in 1 Corinthians 6:9. If a Christian does commit any one of those sins, God will chasten him. Yet though, that Christian will still go to heaven. Salvation is not dependent upon our Walking in Obedience. Our Fellowship with God is dependent upon our Walking in Obedience.

We do not go to Heaven because of our life of Obedience. But rather, we go to heaven because of Christ’s life of perfect Obedience. It is crucial that you understand that.

To conclude, a person goes to Hell because they are dead in Adam. But once a person has been born again, born into God’s family, they can never go to hell. They are destined for heaven once they are born again.

So, what happens when a person believes the Gospel, and on their path of sanctification decides that they don't like sanctification and hardens their heart toward god until they no longer believe the Gospel?
Even if a Christian were to harden their heart and go back to the world, and turn from the faith and even become a professing atheist to where they no longer believe the gospel or the Bible anymore. They would still be saved. Because the New Man (Divine Nature) is in them. And the New Man is incorruptible. It is as perfect as God is and it also is as perfect as the Holy Scripture (King James Bible) is. Therefore it is our New Man in us that is going to Heaven. And that New Man is our New Identity. The Old Man (Sin Nature) will remain in our old body of flesh and it will die with it.

Also what would happen is that Christian would lose his testimony, his power, his joy, his peace and he also will lost his rewards and crowns and will not be able to rule or reign with Christ on this Earth. And he may even lost his physical life. But he will still be God’s child.

You can't go back into the world after you been born again and think you are saved , this is a dangerous error that can lead many into the broad path that leads into destruction !!!

2 Timothy 2:19

I agree that the lost and unsaved are in bondage to their sin. However, they can still live lives of joy, love and sacrifice, which could easily look like someone who is living a righteous life. Point being is that you think you "must behave" a certain way, but your unsaved neighbor is living a life that looks exactly like yours. So, how is it that you must behave?

The unsaved neighbor cannot live a life exactly as someone that honors God ...​

Take heed that you believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and love others. If you are wise you will take heed.

I think Paul speak to Christian in the church of Corinthian.

Works are a result of Our faith. A result of believing not away of salvation.

You are obviously ignorant of the difference between heaven and the Kingdom of God. They are not the same.

You did not answer my question. The "no more sacrifice" refers to the fact that animal sacrifices for sins were no longer effective. The letter was addressed to Hebrews.

Either a person is born again or they are not. If they are born again, they have eternal life. Eternal means just that. Behaviour is most important for the believer's future rewards and placement in God's kingdom. Once a person is born again, he is already in heaven. If you are not there right now, you won't be there in eternity.

To me Kingdom of God is a kingdom where God is a King and God will be a King in heaven so heaven is Kingdom of God

This verse say more clear, murder go to lake of fire not heaben

That is a bold face lie. You are not saved without faith in the Lord Jesus Christ...plain and simple.

If you are saved you won't turn into an atheist and still be saved. That is a foolish lie, right from the pits of Hell.

What do you all think happens when you get saved? God don't just leave us to our own devices!

If you don't have the Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ then you are none of His....Plain and Simple.

If you don't like it, then repent and deal with it, but definitely don't go out preaching damnable heresies like this. The streets of Gold ain't gonna be lined with atheists. Now that is fact...take it or leave it.
